All the Clayton naysayers will find out Week 1

Clayton has always been good against pathetic defenses. That game probably won't change any perceptions. If he shines on December 29th, then people will be impressed.

Okay, everyone get off of Mark Clayton AND Joe Flacco. Clayton has been injured a lot, so we know he doesn't have a chance to ever get into a nice rhythm throughout a season because by the time he starts heating up, he gets an injury. And Flacco was in his first season. He couldn't develop a chemistry that fast. Going through this offseason KNOWING he's the starter on Day 1 should definitely help things. He will be solely focused on how he can improve in the field, and not how he can fit in and not piss off any veterans.

We know Dawan Landry can play. He was competing for rookie of the year in his first season. Even the Raven-hating media was mentioning his name, so that speaks volumes! BUT... a spinal injury is a big thing, just like Ed Reed's injury... and if Landry can't commit to those head-on tackles to save touchdowns then he's really going to hamper the defense.
