Do I Dare Sit On The Visitors Side

11 posts in this topic

I'm looking at buying tickets for the Ravens vs Steelers game. There's a few seats in a decent spot in the stadium (upper level sideline), the catch? They're on the "visitors" side.

How much risk is there that I could be a drop of purple in a sea of vomit yellow, and should I consider wearing a kevlar vest? ;)

Despite rumors to the contrary, Steeler fans DO NOT overwhelm M&T Bank stadium. Even on the "visitors" side (which is where I sit), Ravens fans will be the vast majority.

Although more Steelers fans are more present in M&T then when we play any other team it doesnt matter where you sit. They are everywhere. Ravens fans are all over the stadium too. I think they just say "visitors side" because thats the steelers side on the football feild. It's always a crazy game. Doesn't matter where you sit.

Yeah, as the previous people have said... there isn't a "VISITORS' SIDE" as far as fan seating. That is just explaining which side of the field the visiting team is on. It's not like college where they have a certain section where fans of the opposing team sit. In the NFL, the home team always has more fans than the visiting team. Now if you're talking about Orioles games... haha, that's another story.
