Did anybody watch Scott Garcia and Anita Marks yesterday. This guy called in ranting about how Ozzie is one of the worst GMs in the NFL. His points were asinine as he was complaining how we don't have as many rings as the Steelers and Pats, and not having a winning season EVERY season. Its amazing how anybody can think Ozzie is a bad GM, not many guys could of built a team an won a super bowl as fast as him. I would love to get across from this guy at a table and debate him.

i rekon he most likely a redskin fan Ozzie does a great job at drafting and scouting the ravens can do what they can you never know what's going to happen on that field as we saw in 2007 and 2008 hey i guess ozzie made a mistake on flacco

I'll take a resume of Super Bowl, two division titles, five playoff berths, numerous Pro Bowlers, one of the highest draft success rates (and retention rates), and two future Hall-of-Famers -- all within less than 15 years -- any day. Ozzie Newsome has had success with this team longer than some fans have been alive.

But, I suppose that caller thinks Dan Snyder is a genius and Al Davis is still the most dominant GM/owner in the NFL.

Yea, i heard it and almost called in regards to that caller. It really makes people sound very silly with expectations of Team Walkin on water. Ozzie has served us VERY well in his tenure, creating one of the best Draft formulas in the league! Not to mention, we've already started to reload our players with young replacements. Something has to be said about Ozzie keeping guys from Draft day to retirement. Peter Boulware, John Ogden, Ray Lewis etc, hopefully to be added is Ed Reed, T-Sizzle and more!

We are now becoming mentioned as one of the BEST FO's in all of football, meanwhile Mr.Bisciotti is an ELITE owner who has a strong vision and knows how to keep hands-off and let the pro's build the team! I have NOTHING but HIGH expectations for the future our Baltimore Ravens, it's really outstanding to be apart of a Fan Base whom has only had a team for such a short amount of time but yet has accomplished soo much. Just think, we came from Cleveland. Wow, that thought sometimes blows my mind!

I was listening when the guy called. He's one of the those funs who follows his team but doesn't really understand the business of the game. He makes foolish demands and then gets angry when the team can't deliver them. After all the great moves and decisions Ozzie has made, why should anyone doubt him. I still think the team should have got at least one receiver in the draft but I'm not going to tear down Ozzie for that.

I heard that guy call, I was watching the replay of the show late last night on masn. That guy was an idiot. He had no points whatsoever, mark zinno pretty much refuted every point that he tried to make and the just kept repeating himself. He was saying that since we have had so many quarterbacks since 2000, and have ONLY won one superbowl that ozzie can't put a balanced team on the field every year. Ozzie TRIED to fix the quarterback situation, he got rid of Trent Dilfer and Tony Banks in favor of Elvis Grbac and Randall Cunningham. He drafted TWO quarterbacks in the first round and signed Steve Mcnair who was only two seasons removed from his MVP season. The Ravens have already had three Hall of Fame caliber players (Ogden,Lewis,Reed) one of the best kickers of all time in Stover. All of that on top of a superbowl,division titles, 5 playoff appearences,and the AFC Championship game last season. not bad.

Yeah I heard it yesterday and couldn't stop laughing. He was one of those fools that think if you don't win the superbowl the whole season is a waste. Football is entertainment, enjoy the good moments!

I think it was Scott who asked him if he thinks the Ravens should win the Super Bowl every year and he said yes. That sums up the type of fan he is right there.

lmao, yeah i heard that too. They schooled him when they told him the Colts won ONE Super Bowl title as well...but that fan that tried to compare us to the Colts also forgot that Peyton couldnt do **** his first 5-6 tries in the playotts.

There are a lot of Raven fans, well maybe not a lot, but a percentage that think Ozzie Newsome isn't doing a good job. It's because they are idiots and they want a GM or Owner like Dan Snyder who throws money at big names. If we don't get any more FAs this season and just use the rest of our cap money to extend some contracts i would be very pleased.

Don't even bother with 'fans' like that caller. They're not real fans - they have no sense of appreciation for the process and hard work it takes to build and maintain a franchise. Ozzie has done a very good job and we are very lucky to have him as a GM.

Sounds like he might have been the same person who called into The Fan on one of their shows on Wednesday and said that Terrell Suggs's contract was a big mistake and how we shouldn't have gave him all that money. Ozzie is the best GM in the NFL. Sure we don't have all the Super Bowls like the Patriots and Steelers, but I do know when it comes to the draft, Ozzie finds the players greater than anybody else. I heard something today on either Scott & Anita's show or the Bruce Cunningham show that talked about our draft picks stay on the team longer than any other player on any another team. You don't buy Super Bowls,(I.E. Dan Snyder) You Draft a SB winning team.
