What do you guys think, should we be lower or higher?

Lol, does it seem like Jamie Dukes doesn't really want Baltimore to be in the top ten at all, or is it just me?

Who are the six in front of us??...
I haven't been keeping a close watch on these, but I don't think the Patriots, Steelers, Eagles, Giants, Colts, or Titans have been shown. I'm really not sure though, but those would be my guesses.

This really isn't anything that we haven't heard a million times this summer. Dukes is always negative on the Ravens for some reason.

Um are we complaining about this? the ravens made it into the Top 10, thats good enoguh for me. hell we surpassed teh Cardinals who went to the Superbowl, and lets not forget we passed the Falcons, who have a so called better QB than we do.

So 7 is not high enough? Explain how we are better than the next 6. Be honest and do not be a Hommer.

Steelers
Giants
Colts
Ravens
Patriots

...are my top five. All solid teams: Titans and Eagles may her lost a step in personnel. Hypocritical of me because other teams would think the same of us.

The Ravens being the Animosity of the league, 7 is generous.

Don't be silly; we're better because we're Ravens... duh! :P

In all seriousness, I don't have a problem with this ranking. In fact eveytime I got onto nfl.com, I couldn't believe we still hadn't been mentioned. I thought for sure losing our all powerful DC, the irreplaceable Bart Scott, and the almighty Jim Leonhard would have gotten us voted into the teens.
Although, now that you mention it, one could probably make a good arguement about why we deserve to be ranked higher than the Eagles, if one were so inclined...

It's a good spot, we're not elite yet.
Agreed. Top 5 is the elite -- a position the Ravens are on the verge of entering with another great season. Rankings 6-10 is where you position the teams that are very good but not quite great. Any team in the top 10 is a solid Super Bowl contender, hands-down.

agreed.. especially with the loss of mason if it goes through as planned, 7 is generous.

Patriots, Steelers, Eagles having higher rankings is understandable in my opinion. Not sold on the Colts anymore and I think we're better than the Titans now.

well we better find us a WR, a clear-cut #1 stellar WR such as Brandon Marshall or Anquan Boldin, seriously. Maybe convince the Browns to trade in-division for Robiskie or Massaquoi?

I personally thought we would be rank number 5...I also thought we should have been better then the Giants I mean we did beat them in the superbowl in 2000...

I could see us being interchanged with the eagles or titans.... we all have had "key losses" according to the media

us as fans don't think so as much

yeah i know right its only because they made it to the top four in the playoffs. If they didnt they woulnt be thought about. I learned to live with it.

Top four have been synonymously Steelers/Pats/Eagles/Giants.

Now you have the Titans/Ravens/Colts/Chargers/Falcons/Panthers who are right there.

Just pick the one who's addressed their already good team.

The Falcons are not nearly on the same level as the Titans, Ravens, Colts, or Chargers. Lol, You might as well put the Cardinals and the Dolphins.

After having watched it, I have to say that I'm getting a little tired of the whole 'Rex Ryan's departure is a massive blow' thing. Didn't I hear this after Lewis and Nolan left?

Lewis isn't the best example to use. After he left the defensive ranking went down to the twenties... of course alot of starters were lost too.

I'm fine with the ranking we got, especially because I think this was voted on by fans and I'm impressed that they ranked the Ravens that high - we generally don't get thought of that well by fans of other teams. Sure they give credit to our defense, but we've generally had a struggling offense and fans notice big offenses.

I'm also fine with it because I'd rather be ranked low and play higher than ranked high and play lower.

Cardinals should not be in the top 10...Just cause they had 1 break out season doesn't mean they will be that great later on....I mean they entered the playoffs with a record something like 9-7, well that record should speak for it self...

They beat 2 teams in the top ten rankings to get to the superbowl and almost beat what's either the number one or two team. They deserve credit for what they did.
