Not really sure. It's happened to me a few times though. I think it's so you don't get guys spamming their articles.

We've been repeatedly spammed by bleacherreport, so there are some hard feelings. Since this is in Off-Topic, I'll leave it for now. I think [b]ravensorioleshoyas522155[/b] is just asking for feedback on his article. We'd rather this didn't become a regular thing, though.

We were getting slammed several times a day with stuff that was blatantly false, so bleacher report us usually trashed.
