Steve Mcnair's Untimely Death

238 posts in this topic

Nashville's assistant medical examiner says gunpowder residue was discovered on the hands of Sahel Kazemi!

They haven't officially confirmed it was a murder-suicide yet but it's now looking more and more likely.

Results of ballistics tests on the gun and toxicologies are still pending.

I have a ravens number 9 jersey on my wall..I wish I could off got it autographed but regardless I may frame it....
last summer a local store had dozens of authentic Ravens McNair and Orioles Tejada jerseys for like 20 bucks because they had both left Baltimore, and no one around here wanted them, I wish I would have bought a McNair jersey to frame

this kid owed me 300 bucks and wasnt gonna pay up and for some reason he had a Ravens authentic gameused autographed McNair jersey. I said, "Just give me that jersey in exchange for your debt." I am so happy i did that..... Im in the process of getting a frame for it. Until Flacco comes along McNAir was by far our best QB when I herd that he was coming to B-More I was so happy that for once i could see how this team would perform with solid play at QB and we saw just that in '06. Thanks for our best season to date as well as the shut out of the steelers and the total of 58 to 7 ravens over steelers for our series that year R.I.P. Mr. McNair

EDIT- Never mind. I read another report on NFL.com (don't have the link handy) that gave me a little more indication as to the motive.

Simply put, she was going through a lot of things in her personal life that almost no one knew about, which would explain how she seemed happy and no one saw it coming. It was a snowball of financial troubles as well as other factors that likely drove her to this, as she was desperate and didn't know what else to do.

Tragic ending, and really sad for all involved.

Suicide is such a selfish thing people think that there is no other way out so they take their own lives leaving everybody they left behind hurt. And not only did this girl take her own life she took another persons. What is going on in this world?

My heart is still as heavy as it was when I heard the news. Those people (not here) that are bashing him just makes me sick. Steve McNair was a great player and a great person. Steve McNair was also human, and there is not one of us anywhere that is perfect. I will remember the fierce battles the Ravens and Titans had and how much respect I had for McNair. I will remember 13-3 at the helm of our Ravens, and the following season as he tried to will his broken body to perform as he had done so many times in the past only to fall short. Steve McNair it was an honor to share 2 seasons with you, and an honor to see my team compete against you. You were and will always be remembered as one of the best. The Titans, The Ravens and the entire NFL mourns the loss of such a great warrior. We Love you 9 and we will miss you

read the article now, it says he had a third woman and the killer knew about it.

"Police also say that Kazemi had learned McNair was involved with another woman, who Kazemi attempted to follow days before she killed McNair. Police say they have talked to that woman but did not identity her."

Thank God he was asleep.

I think some things needs to be cleared up while we are trying to figure out how romantically he was with the THIRD women. When the First was shocked there was a second. You guys talk about not being perfect...there is a difference between being human and being wrong (wait that is the same thing). You can say Sahel wasn't perfect, who is the real victim?

"Of the dead speak no evil" both of them are dead. You think it is okay to talk evil of Sahel, by hoping she is chillin (no pun intended) with Hades.

Neither are victims because they have no consciousness on earth. The real victims are us. The antagonist is debatable.

With all the 3rd party "theories" finally debunked and the official standing as a "murder-suicide" I have come to my final deliberation. That woman crazy.

It makes me scared of women now.

I ain't gonna throw stones because I too understand the red blooded calling of a beautiful woman, but as a warrior at his best he had few equals. So let us celebrate this black man.

Edit:If someone quotes "of the dead speak no evil one more time" im going to scream.

I wonder if everyone who says that has only positive things to say about Hitler.

My Momma Says "If you can't say anything good about someone then dont say anything at all." I really can't say anything good about Sahel...

So of the dead "Speak no evil."

I forgot that part about the Steeler "On the raven website" are the exception.

Would that not apply more to Michael Vick? I took Latin in HS

For Blood Raven "Hell hath no fury then a woman who thinks she has been scorned!" or
Abyssus hath haud rabies tunc a mulier fastidium
Ok I'm done!

Not to sound smart, it sounds better then the childish "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything."

Well you were the original sayer of the phrase, i was more refering to the people who copied your phrase to sound smart. Latin phrases work well in moderation.

And probably not, i dont think those dogs licked michael vick to death (I took latin as well).

Ive had guns pointed at my face, Ive been shot a few times and I took one bullet in the leg when I was 15. But there is nothing scarier than a jilted woman with a weapon... especially a knife. Or the brother fresh on parole showing me his blunt meat cleaver because apparently its better blunt.

This is a lesson for everybody, stay away from emotional women.

Edit: And their family members.

According to an article, six ravens are planning to attend McNair's funeral, being Ozzie Newsome, Samari Rolle, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and two other faculty, FO people. Im surprised, though, to not see Derrick Mason attend the funeral. was he not close with McNair in his 10+ years of playing with him? or is it just that Mason can't attend because he's busy for something more important?  idk man...

(edit) oh yea btw here's the source: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bal-sp.mcnair10bjul10,0,7147079.story

The third woman may not have been another girlfriend. There's speculation that the third woman was just someone that she had seen him speak to in passing or someone he strictly had a professional relationship with. Either way, given how she unraveled in only a matter of days, it wouldn't surprise me if she had deep-seated mental issues that no one had known of.

Well something must be wrong with her mentally if she decided to just shoot someone and kill herself. And once steve figured out how crazy this girl was, he probably went to the next one which might be why there is a third girl in the picture. It's just a messy situation. I'm just going to block this situation out of my memory of Steve McNair. Ignorance is beautiful.

Derrick spoke at the Memorial Service last night. Samari was a pall-bearer, too.

Very touching speach by mason. He might have some extra motivation this season.

If everyone could point a flashlight at someone who they thought was mentally unstable and dangerous, not many people would be in the dark. It is hard to isolate the people who is thought to execute their mental instability.
