M+T Bank Stadium Question?

10 posts in this topic

Hey guys, long time visitor of the forum but this is my first post. I'm a 20 year old from Oklahoma and have got to be the biggest Ravens fan in this state. I bleed purple and black. For the past few years, my brother in law and I have attended one game a year. This year, there is no better game to be at than the Sunday night game with Pittsburgh in Baltimore. So my question is this: do the ravens still warm-up before the game on the side of the field opposite of where the band sits? Im not sure which direction this is, I just know that it would be the opposite endzone from which the band sits in. I was at the Bengals game in 2007 and sat right next to the band and was dissapointed when Baltimore began warming up on the other side of the field. All of your help and suggestions on places to sit will be greatly appreciated as I rarely get the chance to come to that awesome stadium and atmosphere.

Well, I can't promise that it hasn't changed, but I don't know why it would. The band end is closest to the visitor's locker room and the opposite end is closest to the Ravens locker room.

Yes, they still warm up on the opposite side from the band. The Ravens warm up on the side with sections 138, 139, 140. Ray Lewis always does his personal little prayer and stretching in the corner directly in front of Section 138. Ed Reed is usually right next to him. When the entire team does their big huddle and Ray leads his chant of "What time is it?" they are more in the middle of the endzone, so directly in front of Section 139.

BUT... keep in mind that the Ravens ENTRANCE TUNNEL when they announce the starting line-ups is on the opposite end of the field(the same endzone as the band). After they finish the starting line-ups, many of the Ravens run down to the other endzone and interact with the fans a little to get them fired up. Terrell Suggs runs down in front of Section 136/138 every single time!
Hope this helps.

I also had a stadium question, but reading this reply to the Oklahoma fan jsut made my night! I will be at the Ravens vs. Steelers game on Nv. 29th, and my seats are in section 139! I am a huge Ravens fan, but this weill be my first game...a birthday gift from my husband. Super excited! My question is, are you allowed to take cameras into the stadium?

Yes you are, but not the camera case and a purse. I usually keep mine around my neck. Keep the purse "normal sized" not a huge hobo or messenger bag style.

Yeah, you can bring a camera. No video cameras though. People have brought huge SLR cameras with the huge lenses... but they can't bring them in a case. So you have to be able to carry it, usually on a strap around your neck like the person above mentioned.

As for purses, I believe the general requirement is that the purse must be no larger than 1 ft. x 1ft. My friend actually was stopped because she has a bag type purse that they thought was too big, so she had to check it at the booth outside the stadium.

Also, since this is your first time... know that you will be patted down by security before entering the stadium. They don't do this at all stadiums, so to new people it sometimes comes as a surprise.

Niccceeeeeee. It'll be my first time back in B'More in years and I'm going to the Steelers game with my younger brother. We've got 3rd row seats in 139. You just made a happy camper outta me. Thanks!

I was just at the Ravens game this past weekend against the Browns, and they let me carry my camera in a case and my purse in, they just wanted to look inside both before I went in!
