Post Ratings In The Mb

Hey i like the idea of being able to rate the posts in the message boards, but isn't it a bit unfair if a poster is allowed to "thumbs up" his own post lol? i mean hey look i can give myself a thumbs up for this post and that doesn't really seem fair to me...other people should be able to critique your content, not the writer themself. does anybody else know what im trying to say? cos i mean honestly if we can rate our own posts i dont think we can take the "rating" thing too seriously. right?

i said the exact same thing in the "old forums" thread.. therefore, kudos to you.. i think you deserve a "reputation point" lol..

mods/admins i know the whole transition to the new style forum isnt finished, but is there any way that you can change this eventually so you cant give yourself points? thanks.

Gotta say I agree with this. Thanks for putting it in the Feedback forum. This is a good place to collect suggestions and complaints.

Yeah that was the first thing I thought when I saw the rating button. I like it though (the rep system, not that you can rate yourself)
