Trade Options

Hope this doesn't go against any of the rules but if a team wanted to trade with us, who would you guys say is tradeable, I am only asking this bc I see Grady Jackson for the Lions might be out, and if we were to trade them a DT for a pick or player who would it be? and make this realistic

Jarrett Johnson maybe. Replaceable and costs 4 million a year which i think is too much. Thats the only one that comes to mind. Because we replace linebackers pretty well, but i dont think we should trade him considering we lost Scott and i dont want 2 inexperienced linebackers starting in one year.

Are you alluding to a trade of Kelly Gregg? I am not neccessarily against it but I dont think we should try to trade him right now unless that deal includes Calvin Johnson, which it wont. I dont think we will get any thing close to his real value, since he is coming off that knee injury. I'd want at least a 2nd round pick or a 3rd and 5th for him but we'd probably only get like a 5th or 6th round pick.

The only other guy, I'd be willing to trade is Dwan Edwards but he to is coming off of an injury. Any trade scenario will probably really mess up our depth and not be worth it in the long run.

i dont really see the need bringing in grady jackson, if thats what you're implying.. isnt he like 36/37 years old? I think we're fine at DT.. a few lions i would be interested in trading for would be of course Calvin Johnson and Brandon Pettigrew (both extremely unrealistic) but a guy who may be a little underrated is Bryant Johnson, 28y/o WR - 6'3" 211 who was drafted in the top 20 in 2003 - *hometown-Baltimore*

big, physical WR with some speed.. probably would come at a relatively cheap price

i wasnt speaking of anyone particular on who to trade and i wasnt talking about grady jackson, esp considering he might miss game 1 and 2 of the season already. i was just saying who on the team could we afford to give up, all this talk about trading for marshall or boldin and all ne1 is willing to give up is picks is ne1 willing to give up a player and not the usually heap or macgahee either

i think everyone is available for the right price, but i dont think the Lions would be willing or able to give up their best young players, or draft picks because they're in a re-building stage to go after many of the guys we have

I honestly believe their are 3 Players that are untouchables on our team we wouldn't trade anytime soon.

Joe Flacco
Haloti Ngata
Ed Reed

Everyone else is fair game for the right price I feel.
