this seems to be faster and i love how we can get to the homepage better but i dont really like the design on this new one. It seems boring and there is no longer the purple feel of it lol. The threads also seem to be really far apart if you know what i mean lol

Overall i suppose ill get use to it and by next week probably would of forgoten how the old ones looked lol

I like the new design; much cleaner and doesn't strain the eyes like the old forum, but a little too Web 2.0'ish.

And never been a fan of the breadcrumbs; like the plain links better. Overall, I think the design is much better, but still needs some cleaning up.

The new topics list is definitely spaced too far apart; less cell padding would be nice, and the table should be wider as well.

I like the modal screen when sending PM's, nice touch of class.

I don't know if it's a little late for this but is there anyway we can get more inbox space? I have to empty my inbox every couple of days.

I was able to get on my laptop last night and test the board on Firefox, and the script problem didn't come up, so I suspect it's simply an IE issue. However, there still seems to be a bit of lag when navigating; I'm still able to navigate the board on Firefox much faster than browsing on IE, but it's still noticeably slow. It's probably because the upgrades are ongoing, but it's still a concern.

Yes i have the same problem and i have firefox now...I just think it's an IE problem in general, explorer takes too much time to just to load the homepage.

Anyways, i like the new boards, it's fine for me, i just have to get a bit adjusted to it...and the "Invision-Blank1" needs to go.:P

Any bugs of stuff stick in the feedback thread, I can comment on the internet where I am about speed and loading because when the gerbil in the basement gets tired I lose internet.

Im not much of a fan of the new look..

I dont like how looking through the pages of posts is so much different.. I dont think this look is more organized than the previous forum.. And theres way too much white on the forum.. If it wasnt for the Ravens navigation bar at the very top of the website, i wouldnt know if i was on the right forum..

Now the ratings system is alright.. But too many people are getting negative votes because they simply dont like the look of the new forum and they're saying that.. i see it becoming a problem to a small extent..

The new look was 20 times better and easier to use than the new look.. And i agree with whoever said(i think it was Alexir), when he said why are websites always updating when everythings fine? I understand the forum wanting to get more involved with the Baltimore Ravens Official website, but the new look is going to take a lot to get used too.. I see this post at a -4 by the end of the day to continue with the trend..

I miss the Ravens logos whenever a thread is updated. Thought that was cool. Maybe more Ravens stuff should be added to the website if people think we should put more purple.

Everytime a website upgrades people complain. But then when the next one rolls around they say that they liked the old one and this new one sucks, etc etc. The fact of the matter is that it's an upgrade. You'll get used to the new look and then you'll realize that the extra features are an improvement.

I think the ratings thing will settle down and most people will only vote for or against posts where they really feel strongly about what is said. I'm not much for giving negative votes, but I can see myself using them when the person responds rudely to another poster and probably if it looks like someone isn't even making an effort to write a readable post. I won't neg anyone just because their opinion is different than mine [unless, like I said, they state it rudely or just say something like, "Wrong!" without discussion.]

I do agree with whomever said we shouldn't be able to vote on our own posts, though.

Hmmm, I wonder if that needs a clarification?

I thought it was for whether you like or appreciate the post, not whether you agree. I can appreciate a post that someone put a lot of thought into and still not agree with what they are saying. I can also agree with what someone says, but not like the way they said it [for example, if they were rude to the person they responded to].

What is the interpretation of this functionality to the rest of you? To the mods?

Newbie's opinion - it goes both ways... Like you said you can appreciate what someone is saying but not necessarily agree with it which may make you want to vote the persons post "up" because you respect what they are saying. Like Ravens/Steelers fans - we might hate eachother but we do have a lot of respect for eachother.

you said FANS. I respect the Steelers but I definitely don't respect their fans. Most of them are either ignorant, arrogant homers and the others are just bandwagoners who have never stepped foot in Pittsburgh.

When that happens, please use the report feature. That's one of the few things about the new format that's better than the old one. Reported posts now go to a central place where the first mod in can deal with it.

Also, please continue to report spam and other Code of Conduct violations. We like a nice, clean, forum. :D

My bad... and right you are... As a fan I respect the Steelers organization especially Mr Rooney. But to say I respect a Steelers fan would be absurd. Thanks for correcting me.
P.S - I have never stepped foot inside Baltimore
