How do I join a Ravens Roost near me?

25 posts in this topic

I have been a Ravens Fan since I knew of Football so that said I want to join a local Ravens Roost. I live in Annapolis and need some help anyone in one or know of one I could possibly join? What do the groups do and is there a fee to join?

Here, this should be of some help....it's the Ravens roost main page....Ravens Roosts

There's also another fan club called RavensNests....not much difference between them IMO..here's the website for the Nests Ravens Nests Main site.

We have a Roost in Annapolis that used to be quite large and active, but it fractured after some in-fighting and is now dormant, although fully chartered. If there's enough interest, we can become active again. If not, there are also some nearby Ravens clubs.

In any event, please PM me or email mista_t_ravens@hotmail.com and I'll get into some details.

Woo hoo! I reckon I can scare up $25 and join Roost #41 :D

Depending where you are in PA, ravens nest #7 is for southern york county, they meet in Stewartstown.

Also to the person in DE, they have nests in NJ, CA, and Pa, so start one in De!

For those interested, click on Crowdog's link above. If you're in Maryland there is bound to be a Roost not far from you.

never heard of a "Raven Roost"

:(

DeathOnWings - the Roosts are the oldest of the Baltimore football fanclubs and were formerly known as the Colts Corrals before the Colts left town. There's also the Chamber of Ravens Nests, who do similar things by way of events, social gatherings etc.

I'm not a member of one but have been to bull roasts for both nests and roosts, and they're a good time!

Not quite that old, but you have to be 21 or older to join a Roost or Nest.

Yeah I know how you feel I'm from Baltimore and moved over to the Eastern Shore, and we're like 10 minutes from the Middletown area and we go to Dover all the time. It is quite boring over here, maybe we should start a nest/roost out here, especially in Eagles territory

Raysqueen,

I think you need at least 25 people over 21 years old to start a Ravens Nest. In San Antonio, it would have to be an Associate Nest, similar to the ones in Fresno, CA, Richmond, VA and Princeton, NJ who don't have to go to the monthly Chamber meetings. You should start be getting some fans in your area together watch Ravens games in a bar or restaurant or at a house of someone who had Direct TV Sunday Ticket.

Or you can join any Nest as an associate (non-voting)member. At Nest 9, we have members who live in California and Florida. If you are interested in joining Nest 9, you can contact our President Bill Cervenka at wlcpres31@verizon.net or if you want to join any Nest in the Chamber visit their website at www.ravensnests.com .

Hmm, might contemplate it.

Granted, I'm not old enough...since I'm only 18...but I could be, like, a lackey or an underling or something...LOL

But there's bound to be plenty of Ravens fans somewhere around the Middletown area. Middletown and Dover aren't THAT far away from me, maybe a half-hour or 45 minute drive, tops, but I just wish more Ravens fans were visible around here...nothing but Eagles fans and Steelers fans, with the occasional Dallas/Washington/NYG/NYJ fan, and the bandwagon NE fans...

There was a Ravens Fan named BRaven98 who was trying to start a Nest in Cecil County, you may want to hook up with him. His email address is braven98@aol.com.

At one time there was a Colts Corral (forunner of the Ravens Roost) chapter in Deleware.
