Not to mention, Boller led the team down the field for the game winning field goal.

i dont think boller lost the game for us, but boller just barely got us down there to score. one pentalty flag and we would have been in OT. we should have done something with it the first drive when he got it but we didnt. which made it be a nail biter at the end. and your right, it wasnt his fault we gave up 17 pts. i just wish we could have done a little better in the 4th.

Boller made a few erratic throws that luckily were not picked. But he did not almost cost us the game, why because he had one 3 and out in his first series? It wasn't his fault the special teams line broke down and led to the blocked punt, it wasnt his fault that our secondary completely fell apart in the 4th. And one other thing, this is the first time I didnt see him completely meltdown when under pressure. I'm at least satisfied to know we have a good back up if McNair tanks, now hopefully we can fix the o-line and protect those guys.

but none the less, he drove our offense downfield into Matt Stover Scroing range....you cannont deny him that, he came through when it really counted, people may bash him for not being "starter" quality BUT i can tell one thing...he for DANG sure, comes through for us when it counts, when we absolutely NEED him to do so...that last Raven Drive Only Proves my point....

Troy is coming along, like Billick said before BUT he is definately not Ready yet lol give him a year or 2 then see, you can bet that he Will eventually be one heck of a starter for us when the time comes for himself to shine

you saw over on the sidelines, when McNair was off the field, talking with the Offensive Coordinator and what not, Troy was right in there listening to every word intently, and taking careful mental notes....thats the kind of thing he needs to do that will be crucial for his development as a GREAT QB for us in the long run

You gotta understand though, Samari Rolle wasn't covering Boldin or anyone for that matter, as he was out with that bug. Ivy stepped up and made some plays but then again so did Boldin. Our players didn't match his physicality and should've made a point to wrap up their tackles but instead those big hits turned into big gains for him. The defense could have played better, yes. But I can understand that without our other starting cornerback, we can't expect to contain BOTH of those receivers for very long.

Boller could've done something that first drive had someone actually blocked the guy who sacked him, he came in on a straight path clearly as the result of a blown block by Terry (though admittedly that was one of the only times the line faultered all game, for which I applaud them). Besides, Boller didn't "just barely" get us down to score at the end. He was 5 for 5 for 52 yards (8 of 10 for 83 on the day), no simple task under the circumstances. even if we were to get flagged we still had time outs and Boller could've gotten the job done even then. That's the faith the Ravens have in Boller, so it's the faith I have in him as well.

ignore him he does this a lot. but anyway you cant deny that McNair's presence here does bring a certain swagger to the team, with or without adversity. The team follows him and he really takes the pressure off Boller and can handle it better. Boller can step in when McNair isn't up to the task or need not be injured so it's all good.

We won the game. We won the game. We're 2-1 now, so let's all be happy!!!!!!!! I kinda like games like this one anyhow, that go down to the last gun, and we all have chewed all our nails off.......... and then we have old faithful kicker's like Stover to come and win it for us so we can all start breathing again. It's not always fun knowing who the winner is going into the last quarter.

speaking of stover, i never realized how old he was. ahah. i just hope his legs are still as strong as when he started in 1991.
