if your thinking about buying or renting it, (i would definately say rent before you buy it so you know more of what your playing instead of spending 60 bucks blindly)

but this game is amazing imo

it is very gory, and uses alot of profanity, so parents i wouldn't buy this for your kids, it isn't like halo

the only knock on it, is the graphics, they could be tons better, but the gameplay makes up for it easily

it is highly addictive, and fun to play in a different kind of role than from your average shooter

in a nutshell

its like GTA and Assassin's creed in how you have the freedom to roam, you can climb up any building in a matter of seconds, you have powers that give you an edge against relentless and powerful enemies, its got the sandbox type of play (basically same thing as used in GTA and Assassin's Creed w/ how stuff reacts)

i would definately say go out and rent it, if you have an extra $63 i'd say go out and buy it

feel free if you've played it to throw out other reviews about it, and if you haven't what you may or may not like about it

As a pure sandbox game this one is the new king, similar to Crackdown and Hulk:Ultimate Destruction you play superpowered mutant and fugitive Alex Mercer, part incredible Hulk, part Spawn, tearing up a zombie hit Manhatten.

You get near invulnerability to most weapons, automatic parkour, superhuman strength, speed that allows you to run up the side of buildings, consume enemies and memories, shapeshifting, gliding, ability to transform hands into blands and hammers. So far Ive been having some epic skyscraper top brawls with Military gunships and supermutants (current kills 4000+ military, 2000+civilian)

The graphics are average for next gen but overall this is one of the coolest games to hit the shelves in a while.

Heres some recent games Ive played

Godfather 2 is a great sequel and delves further into the business aspects of building a criminal empire. As a free roaming sandbox game its fairly average but its the deep (albeit linear) interaction and story that will have you playing for hours.

Also Bionic Commando is a great sleeper game if you have the patience, it can be frustrating early on but the way it rewards skill is incredibly gratifying. The fight sequences become impressively fluid and natural as you progress.

I still prefer Infamous to this, but that's just me. I might take an extended play with this soon, but I don't think I'll buy it.
