Ed Reed - When Ed is on fire he is the best playmaker in the NFL, i still wonder how he couldnt win the DPOY award, hes just a great player, like Trevor Pryce said "Oh, Ed made a pick thats like Ray makes a tackle or the coach sends us a play, its kinda expected" or "Ed Reed the player of the decade"

Jared Gaither - when JO retired i thought he left a big hole on the offensive line and Joe Cool will get sacked a lot of times, but then i saw Jared Gaither shut down one of the best pass rushers in the league like mario williams, dwight freeney and demarcus ware

Jameel McClain - 2 safeties, great young talented pass rusher, a undrafted free agent making big plays, big future ahead of him, i just like the kid and think he deserves a lot of respect

Joe Flacco - started rough into the saeson threw a lot of INT, but after some time he learned so much from cam and the other guys, built a leadership and a chemistry with our offense and i think hes the man that lead us to the playoffs

Haloti Ngata - in my opinion the best DT in the NFL he destroys oliners like a piece of paper, one of the smartes players in the league, its impossible to play a screen against him, either he runs to the QB as fast as he can when he knows theres a guy by the RB or he sees the screen and stays by the RB

Leron McClain - a great RB that noone expected to be that good before season

John Harbaugh - there are no stats about his work but he put so much effort in this team, he changed this team so much and he deserves a lot of respect and is in my opinion the best coach in the NFL

REEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!! (dont you love yelling that??)

Ed Reed has just been amazing over the years its hard to pick somebody else that has more of a game changing ability than he has. If I had to pick an offensive player though it would go to Joe Flacco. I think Flacco will really produce this year and and be a huge factor in our games.

In my opinion for defense definitly ed reed, cause hes just ed theres no better word to describe him than ed
on offense it has to go to jared gaither, i mean dont get me wrong i really like flacco but gaither filled a huge hole on the line and he shut down a lot of future hall of fame DE/OLB

an overall MVP is in my opinion ED REED that guy is just a monster every QB is afraid to throw a pass when reed is back there covering

Clearly Ed Reed was the teams MVP heading into the 2nd half of the season. Without Ed Reed we wouldn't have made it to the Playoffs.

As long as Ed Reed is on that last I don't think an argument can be made for any other player.

And why is John Harbaugh (coach) on the list for most valuable PLAYERS?

Plus, you never actually used the word "Players". You just said Ravens MVP.

you guys forget, if it wasn't for joe, we would be 10-6 and not in the playoffs barring the second Cleveland game. (remember, the one where the OFFENSE had to bail out the DEFENSE). :)

What about T-Sizzle's interception for a TD? or Braylond Edwards drop catch that would have been a TD cuz no one was around him?

That can also go both ways. If joe didnt fumble in the pitt game we would have won that. If joe didnt throw 2 ints vs titans we would have won that. :P

Ed Reed already gets respect from the league, Everyone is saying Joe Flacco will be an above average QB in years to come, but if you want an MVP from last years season:

Le'Ron McClain

He was the leading rusher for the Ravens last year when he was only supposed to be the back up FB to Lorenzo Neal. he did what the Ravens have always been able to do, find a player to be successful in a position they weren't used to playing in college.

Ed Reed. Led the league in picks while battling a very serious nerve injury. that is a warrior.

Ed Reed - he made so many amazing plays. I know the defense as a whole has a lot to do with that, but some of the stuff he does, no-one else in the world can do. His hands and return skills are unmatched.

Where are Ray Lewis and Derrick Mason? I'm sorry, but those two guys meant the most to the team in my opinion.

Ray is the unquestioned leader of the team, always has been. And, while Ed Reed may make spectacular INTs and game-changing returns, Ray is the reason why our Defense is so dominant. It's hard to appreciate how consistently great he really is because we've been spoiled by 13 seasons of it. He's always in the running for Raven MVP.

Derrick Mason was our only viable, consistent receiver during the season and he played most of it with one arm. Some players might have taken the easy way out and sat on IR, collecting paychecks, but Mason stuck in there because he had a true, genuine desire to see the team and the Offense succeed. That's an MVP in my book.

And Jameel McClain? Really?

It' going to be tough for Reed to top what he did last year. He could still get 11 interceptions overall but what he did from Week 12 on was just unbelievable.

I can't believe that Derrick Mason wasn't on the list! The guy only played with one arm most of the season and was productive as the #1 WR on the team. I voted for Le'Ron, but I just realized that Mason was left off of the list.

Ed Reed is one of the Most Valuable in League no doubt on our team.

Just because we aren't used to having an Average #1 wide out doesn't make Mason MVP. Flacco wasn't close either he was the most surprising not most valuable.

D-Mase was a warrior last season. He made so many catches with one hand because he had a serious shoulder injury - but he playes through the pain. Ray is the undisputed team leader by example. His work ethic is way beyond any other player. He inspires, or by sheer will, makes the D better. D-Mase should be our OP for last season and Ray should be our DP as long he is on the team

Ed Reed should have got DPOY last year. Even though I know he will have the same if not a better year, Im going to say Ray Lewis. I'll go as far to say that he gets DPOY. No one wanted to throw big dollars at him is going to make him come back with a vengeance.
