Ogden And Mcnair Expect To Start This Week

18 posts in this topic

i heard this on NFL network today.... Pro Bowl Offensive Tackle Jonathan Ogden and Quarter Back Steve McNair BOTH expect to start in this week ends game against the Cardinals..

I think its absolutely GREAT news to hear, that not only 1 player will return but BOTH players expect to return to the field...even after JO's injury, he has recovered ALOT faster than ANYONE on team and Team Officials expected him to...GREAT news for us!.....McNair returning is alos GREAT news to hear, though we already knew that he would more than likely start this weekend even before las weeks game, he has made a quick recovery and seems to be back to full Strength and will be able to Make those throws and completions consistantly....GREAT!

Thoughts???

McNair return with a vengeance. Hopefully he has a good game.

For JO, I don't know. I mean I want him to be fully healthy and stay that way. If he's really ready, he should go. If not, start Terry

yea i agree about JO, i think he shouldnt come back until he is Officially 100 percent healthy....otherwise keep going with the Line we have right now, it seems to be getting the Job done just fine...especially after last weeks performance of allowing NO sacks the entire game....that says something right there about what we have going for us :)

At home against Arizona I think that if it starts off on cruise control you pull them out halfway through the third or so.

The video was okay, I want one of those 20 minute ones like almost every other team had. But whatever.

I am glad JO will play, but I was looking forward to seeing if Boller could pull it off for 2 consecutive seasons. :D

Samari has looked improved from the first half of last season, hope he's good to go. But if Ray can play with a strained triceps, then I think Samari can handle a bug.

I'm of the school of thought that Ogden, at this point in his career, should have probably taken this week off anyway just to play it safe. You never know with guys that big. He'll hopefully be ready soon, and the line can hold until then.

Good news about McNair though.

update:

McNair Will Start in this Sundays Week end Match up between the Baltimore Ravens and the Arizona Cardinals...

Ogden on the other hand, will remain on the sidelines for a second consecutive week, though Billick said that he is Progressing and looks very promising

better than JO goign down for even longer. let the man get fully healed before he comes back. If we can carry through the season, possibly without him, and have him come back in the playoffs for a super bowl stretch? im down.

I guess, I would like to see him play in full health. But I am sick of waiting this long. :D

patience is a virtue my friend

besides the fact that its giving Gaither valuable playing time and experience in which will help in the long run down the road, AND the fact that he has JO on the sidelines teaching/mentoring him on different things....all of which are very vaulable to him
