true, but peyton is too good not to make the playoffs and then lose the first game

and i agree the titans are a bit of a question mark
This is the team that can make or brake whether the Texans make the playoffs out of this division.

Lol, it seems like the Texans have become on this site what the Bengals are to the mediots- the trendy pick. They have two teams in their division who they don't hold a candle too, but everyone is pulling for the Texans.
Okay well Texans could still make the playoffs and steelers could as well. Im not syaing the Steelers couldn't, but I def. see the Texans going to the playoffs this time. I mean c'mon the franchise has NEVER made the playoffs, they have to be hungry and desperate.
Weren't the Texans established in 2002? There are probably teams that have gone much longer than that without getting to the playoffs.

Did all the people picking the Texans and the Bengals to make the playoffs pick the Browns to win the AFC North last year? They were the trendy pick this time last year, after going 10-6 in 2007, but they went 4-12 last season...

Lucky Orlando.

They only have to deal with Miami, Washington, Atlanta and Charlotte. This sucks for all those haters who said ORlando wouldnt make it into the playoffs.
Predict which teams will make the 2009 playoffs? Theres a total of 12 all together, 6 from NFC and 6 from AFC.

AFC Teams
Chargers
Ravens
Dolphins
Bengals (Yeah, thier team is improved compared to last season.)
Patriots
Texans (it's going to be thier first one)

NFC Teams
Saints
Packers
Cardinals (Who says they can't pull off another 2008 season?)
Vikings
Redskins
Eagles (McNabb has his weapons now... :) )
youre taking the bengals over the steelers?.. i highly doubt it

no giants in the nfc?.. idk about that one either

i guess you could be right though.. we'll just have to wait and see
Well first off the Colts O-Line needs to improve. New Coach, they loss two of their O Line coaches, new rookie RB and Peyton doesn't have his main WR Marvin Harrison. So I think it will be interesting to see how the team will do with a new HC, new O-Line coaches.

Titans, their Defense won't be the same without Haynesworth and with Collins at QB, he is prone to injury.
i dont think that matters.. if anything, it helps the colts bringing in a talented RB.. hes still not their starter though. Joe Addai is a pretty darn good RB

and a lot has been said about the coaching changes and the departure of marvin harrison, rightfully so, but i think any team that Peyton Manning takes the field with has a shot to win every week

Sage Rosenfels is their starter, I think...

Don't the Colts have one of the worst running games in the league?

It's interesting that you had the Bengals (who are 3-1) making the playoffs, and the Steelers (2-2) not making it... and you've changed your mind, and now think Pitt is in, and Cincy out...

Of course, Pitt & Cincy will be 3-2 after this week.

But I give you credit, you didn't pick the (13-3 last yr) Titans - in June - good call!
