I have only heard that WR coach yelled at him for running the wrong route one time. That is it.
Route running was one of the main reasons he went undrafted.

Theres still a lot of practicing to be had. Just because he ran a wrong route doesn't mean he will be cut.

I don't expect anything from undrafted free agents, especially a guy who can't even run routes. I'll take him on the practice squad to develop, no way am I wasting a roster spot on him.

I agree, however I do expect something from Graham Gano, he seems like a dgreat kicker. Hopefully he doen't get cut because hes only undrafted free agent that I enjoy. Plus if Steve were to ever get injured, Gano is more than capable of stepping in.

He's been a non factor so far. Has done nothing to really stand out. As far as him making the team, i don't see it happening. This team is deep at a few positions, and i think the Ravens would keep a extra CB or TE before they stashed this kid at the bottom of the Roster.

Look for him to make the PS team. If he works hard enough

I really find it hard to picture him or Isiah Williams on even the practice squad, although I think Eron would be on it over Isiah.

Of the two, I like Williams, but that could be just because I watched him at MD. Unless the two stand out though, I don't think either will make the practice squad. More likely we'll bring in some other teams' castoffs

I expect something out of Dannell Ellerbe considering he was a projected late 3rd round fringe pick and he actually compares to Bart Scott as a player.
Compares To: BART SCOTT, New York Jets -- Scott is a little bigger and more patient, but both are impact tacklers who do quite an effective job in stuffing the inside running game. Ellerbe has the same ability of Scott when it comes to defending vs. the pass, as he gets good depth in his drops. He shows better production when playing on the move. That, combined with his speed, means a move to weak-side linebacker could be beneficial to his pro aspirations. Inside the box, when he leaves his chest too exposed it lets the blockers stand him up and wash him out. When given a lane, he is quick to slip blocks and create havoc in the backfield. If a team gets the 2007 version of his bull in a china shop approach, rather than the tentative one who struggled with knee problems in 2008, they will get good value early in the second day of the draft.
an excellent UDFA pickup btw... maybe not this year, but hopefully he has what it takes to make it at this level.

i'm really rooting for the hometown kid, Isiah Williams. he has great size/speed/hands combo and i think he can develop, better then Riley anyway.

i like Ellerbe and that DE from Michigan that put up 47 reps at his pro day. obviously none of those guys would start this year, or even next year, but they could contribute down the road at some point. i think they could solid role players, and Ellerbe, if he cleans his act up could be a starter.
