Watching Orioles baseball is torture. Every year can't be the turn around year for the Orioles.
Every year is the year according to O's fans.

"Same old story same old song and dance my friend." worst lyrics ever but it describes ignorant O's fans perfectly.

The O's are definitely better than the Nats though. For the time being. But, they are both Losers. (Sub .500 teams. Last place teams), although one is farther in last.
hey lol, we gotta stay optomistic! :D

but realistically, it will probably take two years for the orioles to come back to contention.

Until the end of this year, we will find out who will stay in the rotation (young pitchers-wise), probably cut guthrie if he continues to play like he does, and name rich hill the new ace if rich is consistant. Brad Bergesen will probably make the starting rotation next year, along with somebody else. Before the end of the year Troy Patton will be promoted to AAA

Next year, the Orioles will most likely do all the promotions, promoting Troy Patton to the majors along with Chris Tillman and see what they got. (troy patton was more major league-ready when we got him). Jake Arrietta will probably be in AAA and get a taste of the majors, along with the other high-profile pitchers down there. Brian matusz will probably begin the year in AA and end in AAA. And oh ya lets not forget snyder the first basemen will get his promotions, too to AAA probably this year.

The year after, our starting rotation for contention will begin to pan out and our young infielder, Brandon Snyder (who i am heavily banking on :D) will play sometime this year and taste similar success to nolan reimold.

-so, this was all off the top of my head ( probably forgot many of our prospects) , but if we can get this to happen (or earlier), we should be back in contention before we know it.
