Anyone Watch The Nats?

33 posts in this topic

Im just watching now to see if Randy johnson gets 300. OMG their commentators are SOOOoOOoooo whiny.
"Thats ball f...Wait, oh no...he calls him out. Come on... You know sometimes some umpires forget that man is 6'6"..jeeze..."

That was just today. I happened to be watching a couple weeks back against the mets and it was worse. They were literally ****ing and whining about the umpiring and saying the umps gave the game to the mets. The most unprofessional thing Ive ever heard on television.

Granted, Jim Palmer has his share of conceited one liners, but he doesnt make excuses when the Orioles stink.

That's Nationals, bud. And yes, I am a fan of theirs. I live in Nova so it comes with the territory. Lol at least no one can ever accuse me of being a bandwagon fan. :P

Hey, I'm a Ravens fan you know; that's not the home team. I'm aware that I can pick my own team and I chose the Nationals.

O's are going to explode next year

Wieters+Reimold+Jones+Markakis+our young good pitchers (especially in minors)+ Roberts (even though he's kinda....mediocre right now) = Uber own

I'd be happy if we get .500 this year

Yep, and they are constantly begging for a "break" like they deserve calls to go their way b/c they suck so bad. Too bad a guy like Zimmerman has to be stuck on a team like that. No, he's not A-rod at 3rd, but he is far and away their best player and I can only imagine how much better he would be outside of the depressive environment of that club.

uh, the Orioles are not NEARLY as bad as the Nationals. The Nats are flat out terrible. The O's are just bad but not for long. next year is when we start makin our move on the rest of the AL East. We have SO much talent at pitcher waiting in the wings

All of you O's fans need to realize the O's are a bad team. 11 straight losing seasons in a row.

Nats 3 seasons in a row.

Did I mention the Nats just came back on the scene?

OH sorry I forgot the Orioles have Orioles Magic. YAY!

That doesn't even make any sense, the Nats have 1 good player and a decent pitching core that are few years away. They are not even close to the success the Orioles are close to.

are you kidding me? We do realize we are a bad team. The only difference is, we now know that we are making big strides and pretty soon, that streak will no longer stand.

and yes, we have had 11 straight losing seasons but that has NOTHING to do with RIGHT NOW and RIGHT NOW we are MUCH better than the Nationals.

What Success are you talking about?

The O's are under .500, and in last place in argubly the best division in baseball, where everyone is really competing except the Oreos. You O's fans need to get real and stop being so bias. Every team in the AL East is better than the O's.

And regarding the Nationals. They have less way to go in the division they are in. And they will probably be acquiring the Bryce Harper "Phenom".

Don't hold your breath.
obviously, it wont be easy but Tampa already proved it can be done. Thats why we're doing it the exact way they did by building the franchise through young ptching and defense.

i was just pointing out that the Nats division isnt so easy either.

Didn't we beat the Nats 2 out of 3 games so far this season? And one of the games we won was against there so called "future stud" pitcher. Yeah, you right the Nats are better

Watching Orioles baseball is torture. Every year can't be the turn around year for the Orioles.
Every year is the year according to O's fans.

"Same old story same old song and dance my friend." worst lyrics ever but it describes ignorant O's fans perfectly.

The O's are definitely better than the Nats though. For the time being. But, they are both Losers. (Sub .500 teams. Last place teams), although one is farther in last.
