Cowboys May Have Rushed Construction

9 posts in this topic

In the aftermath of the Dallas Cowboys' practice facility collapsing and injuring 12 people (paralyzing one), reports are surfacing that the Cowboys may have received preferential treatment from Irving city officials. This fuels speculation that the Cowboys organization rushed construction on their new stadium and facilities, presenting safety hazards that city officials normally would not overlook.

I can't believe it took 12 people getting hurt and a couple more dead (in earlier incidents) for people to realize what I had suspected all along about the Cowboys and their new stadium. If these allegations are true, Jerry Jones is in a boatload of trouble and deserves to get the book thrown at him.
Well just think, how much was rushed on their new stadium! :o
If the allegations are true, I think the NFL needs to get involved and inspect the stadium before it opens. We don't need something tragic to happen just because of an organization's carelessness.

did ol' texas stadium get demolished yet? lol hope so...because for some crazy reason if the new stadium didn't meet requirements and had to go to their old stadium again, i'd be dissapointed b/c nobody would remember how the ravens beat the cowboys in their last home game. ;)

Just keep in mind, if someone gives you a ticket to the new Cowboy's stadium along with air fare, it maybe an insurance scam. :o

Heh. Maybe this is all a ruse so that the Cowboys have to have another "last" game in the old stadium so that they can win this one. Wonder how many times they'll have to have "last" games until they finally pick a team they can easily beat?

[Although, in all seriousness, I hope they get the new stadium thoroughly inspected before allowing the fans to pour in.]
