It would be an interesting pick up and I think he would do great things with Flacco. He is pretty young too.

Now here comes the swarm of goodie good Harbaugh boys complaining about his legal problems

Brandon Marshal is a beast. He would be more affordable than Q, and better than any of the other recievers on our draft or the trade block

Marshall's Nickname is the Beast and that is because he is. The guy plays like T.O. and is the Big (6'4 230lb) reciever we deseperately need to have a high powered offense.

I would take 25 year old Marshall before 29 year old Boldin anyday.

i would take all both over mason now isnt that a slap in the face. You can get madd all you want but mason is our hold back we can get way better wideouts who produce more. Come DeCosta Let go one of those picks for proven talent. How bout Mason and a 3 for santana moss.

I would take Marshall before Boldin too. Marshall is bigger, faster and seems to enjoys contact just as much. There was an article on ESPN last October in which they talked about players that intimidate other players to the point of fear and Marshall was one of them. Not only is he playmaker but he's a great blocker too. Also, unlike Boldin, Marshall is entering the prime of his career.

I just don't see us getting him (nothing to do with his legal issues) because Denver would be stupid to trade him. He is the only hope of having Kyle Orton be as successful as Jay Cutler was.

This is not a concern for the Ravens. Even if the Bronco's trade him, much like it was with Cutler, he will go to the NFC.

I am not sure we are going to add another reciever by the talk that everyone was happy with what we had last year. To me it is just an example of an obvious need that goes ignored for some reason. We stack up on defensive players without a thought on a reciever. If we had a more potent offense we would not rely on the defense as we do. I cannot imagine us having a great defense and an even better then average offense. We would be unstoppable. If we could score 21 points a game every game how many teams would have a chance against us. Thats the only reason the steelers beat us last year. The passing attack is just awesome. That could be us. Instead of scoring one touchdown and 3 or 4 field goals we could be a red zone monster.
i dont want any guy on my team that hits women..... any1 see the espn special this morning?

sorry no link
Yeah we know what he is accused of...Fabian Washington had the same problem.

It is more than likely true but I tend not to believe any of the domestic violence talk til they are proven guilty. I just think of the Kobe Bryant "rape case" and how the woman was seeking money.

That being said I do not condone hitting women at all (Unless they are like a terrorist ,baby eating serial killer).

well we might not have to trade for him. Denver is not giveing him an extension and this year is huge for him. The guy has emense talent adnd is the type of receier we need. That big physcial guy that can be a deep threat. I would give up a 1st for him easy. But this year has a lot of FA WR who wil test the market and we might get one and i hope we get Marshall. I lvoe the guy and he would put our offense over the top. Remember Denver is rebuilding and Marshall has a questionable past there so i wouldnt be surprised.

So i would love him in Baltimore

You would think so, but then again, I didn't think they were stupid enough to trade Cutler either, so who knows with those guys...

This may be true, but I have never, ever understood that philosophy.

I mean honestly, what is the thought process there? "Hey, the Ravens are offering us a great package, but they play us once this season and then not again for another four years so we absolutely MUST send him to the NFC!!!!@@!!"

And technically, if all cards play right, they will play the team that they would trade to in the NFC every 4 years too.

Technically you would play the NFC team every 4 years and the AFC-team every 3 years (If you're an AFC-team, obviously) also, you might encounter the afc-team in the playoffs... Still I don't understand the whole thing either. if you get a good deal on a player you should go for it, no matter where that team is from. Obviously a good deal is a deal, where your team is better of for making it, than not making it...

Unless that team happens to be in your division rival.

Just imagine if Bart Scott went to the Steelers.

No, sorry, but I wouldn't want Santana Moss at all. I watched Skins games with a friend and I will never forget how Moss completely gives up on plays. One in particular when Collins threw deep and Santana STOPPED RUNNING because it was a little far. Instead of breaking up the play he let the FS pick it off, I just shook my head in disgust and thanked the heavens we have a better WR set than the Skins do.

And I doubt Denver would let Marshall go. Also, his character is now in question, though I watched Outside the Lines and do find some truth to his story about all these incidents. It was funny to hear him say that he has never laid a hand on her, but later in the interview says he isn't a perfect person and would have done things differently (what would he have changed if he never hit her? ) On the field great WR, which is the sole reason Denver will keep him. I mean, the girlfriend's family called the Broncos and they told the parents that she needed to forgive Marshall! lol? They are clearly all business.

er, are you trying to say, "What has that got to do with route running or Mason being our No. 2"? I'm saying he's not a good player or teammate, not nearly as good as Mason. Therefore his other skills are rendered moot by his apparent lack of effort.

Brandon Marshall and Santana Moss for that matter are both sick. I wish we could have both, but our team is built in the trenches and not designed cap-wise or philosophy wise for an expensive, primadonna wideout. Makes guys like Derrick Mason and Andre Johnson all the more attractive.
