Ngata does so much for our team and he is versitile. Hampton is solid but not as good as Ngata. And i'm not sold rogers is better. And i'm also terribly biased. But its the best DT in AFC not the NFC north just for the record.

I think you meant to say the AFC north, but whatever. Is there a poll somewhere on that page that I'm just missing? Also, shouldn't there be like four guys?

He doesn't belong in the conversation with these 3.

Rogers isn't even remotely close to being as good as Ngata and Hampton.

I wouldnt say that. Rogers has no help from anyone else on that defense. And he is the only threat to do anything. I think Rogers is better than Hampton but definately not better than Ngata

Rogers had great numbers last year for a guy being double and triple teamed.

And this is an interesting poll, 26-0-0 for Ngata

this poll is definitely meant for the unbiased fan, but you won't find any of those in Ravens Nation we're all about thinking that our defensive players are hands down the best in the league

I feel we have the best safety and the best nose tackle in the league. Everywhere else we are behind other teams(Ray behind Willis, Suggs behind Ware, Pryce behind Seymour, Landry behind Polamalu, etc.)

Uhm no, the only team that we are behind is the Pittsburgh Steelers. You may make the arguement that one or two players may be better than one or two of Baltimore's players, but the bottom line is that the Ravens defense is better than 30 other teams no matter what big names they may have.
You can call me a blind homer if you'd like, but it's the truth. B)

We aren't talking about units, we're talking player for player. Obviously units we are the second best defensive unit in the league. Now, player for player, Ed Reed and Haloti Ngata are the best at their position. Everywhere else can be upgraded.

None of these guy's play in the NFC north  , I picked Ngata because I figure you mean AFC and just made a typo. Anyways the only guy I think is better is Haynesworth ( eventhough he's not worth 100 million dollars) Hampton is a very good NT and I think him and Ngata are very even as D-linemen.

I say Ngata just because he is still young. However, Hampton is really good, I'd say they are dead even in terms of fulfilling their somewhat different responsibilities.
