i think that video of Brandon Jacobs gang tackling looks a bit better to me...the ravens one, it kinda looks like ed reed would have helped that titans dude because of the way he was going...idk, but either way the videos look sick.

Figured there was no point of starting a new thread. I was reading the EA Forum board, and came across this video. It is an introduction to a Ravens vs Falcons game at M&T Bank Stadium, features the Ray Lewis pre-game Dance. It's pretty cool. Here it is:

lol...maybe it was a wrong angle, but ray ray looks like a better dancer in real life but im glad they have little snippets like this...makes you feel like you're actually playing the game a bit more...i remember in '05 every time i won a game the same person always came to the camera and "rumbled" it...to the point where it got annoying enough to stop winning

seriously im tired of madden.... so many inconsistencies and playing against the computer is so friggin easy its ridiculous.. they need to update the reality of the gameplay drastically

I got too many posts to quote, so I'll just do this one Twitter-style.

[b]@#1 D:[/b] I just think the motion-capture guy couldn't dance for crap. He didn't do the dance properly. He didn't do it with enough movement (he was too stiff), and he messed up the big knee lift at the end. I couldn't tell if they put Ray's skull cap on him, but if they did, that's DEFINITELY attention to detail; I noticed in the full Ravens-Titans game that Ray had his PROPER war paint (one smear connecting the two eye-black strips) and proper gloves and tape on his wrists.

[b]@Marc2k6:[/b] You're right, they really stepped up the presentation this year, and I'm excited to see what they have planned for the playoff games and Super Bowl. The Franchise Mode changes alone already have me sold without even playing it. Just seeing it in action has me convinced this is a much better Franchise Mode than before, especially with the weekly in-game highlight shows.

[b]@codizzle:[/b] The main reason why the gameplay is so easy for us veterans is because they still haven't found the right balance in difficulty. Unfortunately, such a balance is difficult to achieve with a sport that is so human-driven and has so many variables. Sure, they've managed to create realistic WWII games and things of that nature -- but only because those settings are still "on-rails" and don't have as many variables. Whereas a WWII shooter can have variables, those variables are confined to the scripted events of the game. On the other hand, with a sports title, the parameters are much wider because the events in each game are always unique. Until AI (in general) is created that can replicate a human player's thought pattern as it relates to football (at each unique position, no less), it's difficult to make the gameplay significantly more realistic than it already is.

It looks ok but still has a lot of bugs, considering it's almost a beta built from scratch it's not bad.

Ratings are terrible, overalls are ok but speed is all over the place. It's still a cop out to make fast guys slower because theyre not as good.

So basically, a player that would be a 99 on a pass-first team, would be only an 88 or even lower on a run-first team (just an exaggeration.)

Yeah this isn't the complete game, there's still some tweaking to do!!

I thought you meant the video playlist order was jumbled up so you was watching the the quarters in different order.
