You know, when I think about it, I actually don't hear about the Steelers nearly as often as I hear about the Patriots and the Cowgirls. Before I started watching football I knew about Dallas and I knew about New England, but when my friend said he was a Steelers fan I was like "What sport is that?"
Even after winning the Superbowl, it seems like all I hear about is "Brady's back" and "T.O.'s gone." Now don't get me wrong, I do not by any means [i]want[/i] to hear a whisper about Pittsburgh, but it's odd; I would have expected more media attention...well I guess there's James Harrison, but other than him...

it more has to do w/ wear i live, no lie the media plays like 2 min of ravens info in a week where i live, and by info i mean just about anything, when they are comparing teams, doing power rankings etc, hell this is where i get my ravens fix for the week, month, year lol

I'm in the same boat. I can hear about the Orioles anytime, but when football season starts it's all about the Redskins. Not that I mind hearing about them, but I need to hear from my real team, you know?

ya, we get like 2 games a year..... not including playoffs, and those are mainly the primetime games lol

It's tough to argue with the Pats, Steelers and Giants. I think we're pretty even with the Eagles, so I think it's a fair ranking. But it's not often we get fair ranking, so this was a nice surprise.[/quote]
I dont think we have been a franchise long enough to be compared to the Eagles, I would rate us pretty low just because we came into the league in 1996

I can see the logic in not comparing us to teams that have been around since the dinosaurs roamed the earth, and instead rating us against say the Texans, Falcons, Jaguars, etc. However, consider this: teams like the Eagles and Cardinals have been around since before the Lombardi trophy existed and yet they still do not have one, but the new kids on the block do. I can see why we would be rated ahead of them... but I am a bit biased.
