Just When You Thought The Boldin Rumore Would Cease!

Okay so im sure im going to get yelled at for this but I was browsing on Espn.com and came across this

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4206769

It states that Anquan Boldin plans on firing his agent. Although this doesnt neccisarily mean that we will get him, the reason he is firing his agent is because he isnt getting the trade done . So Anquan def wants out of Arizona, but we just dont know where he will be going .

p.s: plz dont be negative for me posting this, im posting this to talk to ppl that are optimistic about Boldin poosibly coming here <_<

Anquan please get to Baltimore idc what it takes.

I know this means nothing lol but i picked him up in Madden 2009 and he got 1700 yds for the season hahaha, Imagine real life lmao ;)

Uh, Anquan being traded from Arizona is not his decision to make. He can not force a trade, either they want to trade him or they dont, they've already stated that they would prefer not to. He fired his agent because his agent has failed to get him paid. Plain and simple. I dont think Boldin cares where he gets his money as long as he gets it. If Arizona pays him he will stay, its all about the money.

Boldin is not coming to Baltimore, GET OVER IT.

Realistically, I'm not sure what firing his agent means...

What I do know is that apparently other teams lowballed Arizona, and although they didn't bite, it may have lowered their expectations on his return value.

Heap and a 1st for Boldin.
Lock it up, Oz!

Firing his agent doesn't mean anything. And believe me, I WANT Boldin here, but even I don't see anything in the story that would indicate Boldin being in purple-and-black this season.

Also, if you think about it, there's a good chance he's fired Rosenhaus because of the negativity associated with having him as his agent. Teams are more likely to have productive negotiations with an agent who's not as visible as Rosenhaus in the media, or as inflammatory. And seeing as how Boldin wants Larry Fitzgerald-type money, it'd make sense for him to consider hiring Fitzgerald's agent.

Either way, as much as I've held out hope that a trade will happen -- it won't. Time is ticking away, and if Boldin were to come to Baltimore, it should've happened a month ago before OTA's started.

I disagree with you, so you insult me? Very mature. I dont care that you made this thread for all of you Boldin lovers to hug and kiss each other over the possibility of Boldin still being available. If you dont like listening to other opinions prehaps you should stop posting on a message board and start chatting with yourself. No one will ever disagree with you then.

Well I agree with you. http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/...als?eref=fromSI And so does sports illustrated.

I hope this causes Rosenhaus to lose a lot more clients. If you want to know why rookie and other players contracts are so large there is no reason to look any furter. If players sign a 4 year contract they should be expected to have to wait 4 years before signing another. Agents that feel they can make more money by convincing their clients to hold out for more money are the reason there are so many teams with salary cap issues year after year.

It's the Cardinals we are talking about here..... they will keep him on the cheap to pair up with Warner while he is still around and then let him skate in free agency to the highest bidder.

Probably the Redskins. Unless he gets arrested a few times before that. In which case it's probably the Raiders.

I'm assumin that she dosent like her emotions toyed with. You know buildups and letdowns. I bit on the Boldin lure early, but lost hope after the draft. I think we will be fine with what we got. Opinions are like a holes though. Dirty.....

The dude asked about as nice as a person can to not have negative comments. So what you are saying is that it is not possible to disagree and be polite, because you took a pretty crappy tone.

To be off topic, bad news is Rosenhaus is apparently Gaither's new agent. :o

I agree with the former posts; firing an agent doesn't mean much because it's still Arizona's ball in terms of trading Boldin, which they don't want to do. Not much else to be said on the topic, as much as people may want to have hope (including myself) :(
