Ya know I got the red ring of death on my 360 once, and I was pretty pissed but then after I restarted it the console continued to work perfectly and has for the last 3 years.

What that could be is one of the chrods coming loose.. Im pretty sure if you leave the power chord in and take the other one out, you'll get the red ring.. I may be wrong though

that sometimes happens or it could be like what happened to me and my cousin. it will go away for a couple months then crash later. the question is do you still have a warrenty on your xbox?

Also, whatever you do, do not try to perform surgery on your xbox.. One you open up your xbox, the warranty is void..

The 360 is crap i mean yours is broke and millions of them right now are broke i just got mine back last week for rrod 3rd time it happened you should really get a ps3 it doesnt get rrod 3 or 4 times a year. And plus its plain better , still think ps3 is crap look at your red light on your 360 thats crap. PS3 RULES.

you just call and send it in, red ring warranty is extended...they fix it or giv you a new one. I sent min last year and they sent it back fixed plus gave me a three month xbox card for my trouble, but total time was like 3 weeks you pay shipping though it was like 12 bucks.....My freind sent his to a guy in new york to solder wires which causes problems and also modified xbox to play burnt games and store them onto system. I'm pretty sure thats illegal so don't try it
