Whats your favorite v game ever? Here is a list of mine, off top of my head

Mike Tysons Punch out-this is th first game (bside super mario) that I played nonstop.

Contra- Good old nes game, does anybody else remember the unlimited life code?

Tecmo Bowl- Bo Jackson and the Raiders were banned, they were too good you couldnt use em

Call of Duty 4- I bout to go play online know and its 2 yars old

Shemmue- was on dreamcast not into role playing but like this on

GTA- the first one for ps2, never played the others

Madden- any and all of them

there prob. a couple more i'm leaving out but for know thats it

After this game EA realized it was time to buy them out and end the 2k series before they lost their fanbase, and ever since Madden has gotten lazier with updating their games each year)

Neither did I. It did nothing to grab me, and I couldn't bear to sit through the first few hours. The battle system was lame (give me the old ATB any day), and the characters were extremely forgettable, IMO.

Ah, so I see other people know what the deal is with Suikoden...the first two are some of my favorite soundtracks of all time, and the storylines (especially II) were timeless. The whole best friends motif of Suikoden II was definitely relateable (hence why my best friend & I were hooked) and the story was extremely well-written. The first two games had the right mix of lightheartedness and serious themes. Suikoden III was solid but didn't measure up, and then Suikoden IV was complete crap. Suikoden V, I never played b/c it was the end of the PS2 lifecycle, but I hope to pick up a copy and play eventually.

Crossing my fingers for Suikoden VI for PS3!

Yeah, don't really remember how I ended up with this completely unassuming game. It actually stopped my life for a while, I logged over 100hrs each on the first and 2nd game. Can't remember much about the 3rd.

did you ever try Mass Effect, its made by the same ppl who made KOTOR, its pretty fun, rather short, but not a bad pick up for $15 used from your local gamestop
