The fact is, this is (or part of) an independent business. It's like going into someone's house: they write the rules and we're allowed in as long as we stick to them. The Mods have the call because they are given the responsibilty to abide the wishes of the executives. Like it or not, thems the facts.

Just like your boss can fire you for no reason at all in the great state of Maryland, the Board can kick you off for any reason they see fit. In fact, the Mods are somewhat more responsible than your boss as they have a written, public code upon which to operate. We can always look it up. [i]That [/i]is very democratic.

I personally have run afoul of the Mods on a couple of occasions for reasons that I thought were at best trivial, however, I choose to abide by their judgements because I value the luxury of bring able to use and contribute to the information on this board.

I feel that politics tends to lean one way on most football sites, but, since this is clearly out of bounds here (so to speak), I don't bring it up. Too bad for me, but there are about a gazillion other places to dicuss it.

the point that he was trying to make with this thread is that people need to abide by the rules or leave. it not that we dont want everyone to stay but were just sick of seeing people complain about the rules. they are not going to change so leave or follow them really simple.

For further information to all: Please read or re-read the Code of Conduct. If you follow that, you can't go wrong.

The other thing is, we have a feedback forum, as well as PM's and the report to a mod feature on here.

This is [b][size=5]The Ravens[/size][/b] forum, [b][color="#ff0000"]NOT[/color][/b] the gripe about , complain or praise the way us Mods do our jobs forum.

ALL of us MODS here all discuss topics and members in our own "MOD CAVE", and believe it or not, we ALL have a UNITED front. Their is no MOD trying to single anyone out, or discriminate towards any one member.

That all said, this thread is LOCKED.
