Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

if your feeling like me you can not wait until this game comes out. i already know that this follow up will win game of the year. this may sound crazy but i have been waiting for this game ever since i played cod modern warfare. i also heard that the makers of waw are hard at work on the next project as well so expect that to drop sometime in 2010 or early 2011. from what little they have released to the public im sure that this game will be worth the money. i personally feel that even waw was alot better than i had expected it to be.



since this title will be dropping nov. 10th i was wondering how many people are going to preorder now? i know i already have copy on reserve. I was also wondering for the die hard fans like me what you want to see in this game? im hoping they add what treyark did for waw with the pick up system. Im hoping that the air strikes will be more accurate as well. i heard that every game type online will have a normal and hardcore mode. I heard that coop will only be allowed on campaign but none of this is confirmed yet. i figured i would start this page since i didnt see one already started.

i know man i cant either i mean cod4 was and is one of the best shooters ever made and i think the best 1st person shooter ever made. I dont know how many but i think on the back of the case it says cod4 won 40 awards plus as we all know game of the year in 07 . So you have to expect at least another ame of the year for infinity ward simply cause they made the one in 07.

Im glad Modern Warfare 2 is back in the hands of Infinity Ward.. Treyarch didnt do a bad job on 5, but how can you compete with 4? Modern Warfare 2 will be game of the year hands down.. Im just as excited waiting for this game to come out, as i was waiting for the Ravens to draft this year..

to be honest cod4 was my favorite until waw showed me what it could fix and improve on thats why i cant wait to see what infinty ward has up its sleves now.

im actually looking for to treyarks new cod as well because i think they will build off what infinty ward keeps adding to the series. i feel that my money spent on WaW was worth the purchase. thats saying alot because there are lots of games that i have bought that i question ever buying like madden because it becomes outdated so fast.

I never bought WaW but i rented it since its release and i still have it through GameFly.. I'd recommend GameFly if you play a lot of video games.. Back on topic, i thought WaW was a great game.. There were a lot of new little features i liked in the game such as throwing nades from ladders, earning the sniper scopes, reduced lag.. Im a fan of the little things that make it more realistic, and im pumped to see what MW2 can bring to the table..

If you dont mind me asking what is your kill/death ratio? mine isnt great cuz i mess around with my friends but last time i checked i think i was a 1.4 in team death match.

You're talking to a former top 200 in cod 4, and a former top 1000 in cod 5

Anyway haha, i play search and destroy probably 95% of the time.. My k/d in search is around 1.4, and in TDM, its around 1.8, and free for all is around a 2..

damn i suck, im at like .54 or something lol, however i have found out i am good with the sniper rifle.... and the gilly suit , when i play pipeline i've had like 8 people literally less than a foot away from me (enemies) and not even see me..... than i just snipe em......... or knife em

i could be better but the people i play with when we get bored we start doing dumb stuff. we will bring out the rpg and see who can team kill the most or we will kill everyone in search and destory and team kill to score the points and sometimes we just take each other out like the time i cooked the nade and blow us all up LoL. i dont take it serious cuz i dont get paid but i know how you feel cuz when it came out i use to play all the time. the only game i have bought when it first came out was halo so i never cared to try and get in the top plus since i have kids i dont get to play as much as i use too. im really good at waw or just play alot of sorry people but when i play random i rarely find anyone that picks up people. reddawn a trick to get better is not rush every where and talk with your teammates. alot of people just rush around and hope to get lucky. if you play like a team its hard to be beat.

i don't take any of it seriously, its a damn video game its supposed to be fun, i just get annoyed when i have people yelling in the mic.... what the heck!? ARE YOU DOING, YOU SUCK, BLAH BLAH BLAH........ when they yell so hard that my ear practically bleeds, now that being said, i don't hate playing with people who hate to lose.... just the ones that think they are the best

I just pre-ordered my copy yesterday. I cant wait, Theres supposed to be the world premier of Modern Warfare 2 sometime during tonights NBA game on TNT. I'm just going to wait until it gets uploaded to the internet to watch it, since I'm not a big basketball fan. I forget what it stands for, But its made by Zipper. The creators of Socom: US Navy Seals. Its only for PS3 and it looks like it's going to be bad***! If the PS3 drops its price before it comes out, I'll probably get a PS3 and most likely will get that game. I used to play Socom online when it was out for PS2.

i used to play socom 1 and 2 on the ps2, was one of my favorite online games

Infinity Ward could pretty much release almost the same game as COD4, and I'd probably still buy it without complaints. That's how good of a job they had done with it. But, from all of the changes that sites like IGN have pointed out in what little's been shown, it looks like Modern Warfare 2 is definitely a Game of the Year candidate already.

It's rare when a game looks so good that there's almost no way it disappoints, but Modern Warfare 2 looks like it'll be one of those titles.

My question is since infinity ward puts game of the year games out 4 and i think 1 why is the other developers even make a cod game every other year. I mean activision could have a goty every year if they just dumped treyarch and let infinity ward make all cod's . Activision is cashing in, and rightfully so since both developers have done a great job.

The main reason why a lot of people prefer the Infinity Ward games is because they chose to do a modern setting as opposed to WWI and WWII -- which have been done to death by Treyarch and other developers. There's nothing wrong with WWII shooters, but because there's so many, none of them really stand out. Not only that, but we, as an audience in today's world, can relate more to Modern Warfare because we live in a similar setting, as opposed to WWII when none of us were even born yet.

i guess the old/modern war-based video games depend on interest. i mean i a person like me would love video games based on modern technology and warfare, but some people just like to know the history of what happened and would like to know how things happened, and what kinds of guns they used, etc...just throwing that out

to be honest i like they way that they have it setup. why would you want another modern warfare game coming out right after you just made it plus why would you want a different developer creating it. i believe that treyark did a great job on waw. im really excited to see what type of game treyark is going to come out with next. im hoping that infinity ward will take some tips from its counter part. i know whatever they do it will be mind blowing an win the game of the year again. i almost feel bad for halo because they seem to keep dropping games around the same time now and getting smashed in sales.
