Is Anyone Else Sick Of This

I know Suggs is a very good pass rusher and all the hype to get him signed is just falling on deaf ears. Why do we want to keep throwing money at a guy who obviously does not want to be here unless we are willing to bleed ourselves dry. With a couple good moves we could have a very decent offense that would take the stress off of the Defense. That would allow us to get someone to fill his spot nicely. We taught him so there is no reason why we cannot teach another who actually wants to lay here. I am sorry if this hits folks the wrong way but "screw Suggs". He obviously does not care about the teams needs so why should we care about him ? Let him test the market just like others have and lets see just what he gets. I hope he gets a good offer then realizes he was so succesfull here because the rest of the team gave him the chances to get to the QB. So i truely hope he walks and we try to sign a decent reciever or DW or MC step up to mak eour offense more of a threat. I think it is a safe gamble. Give Suggs the walking papers and let him ride.

I think that Suggs is dispensable to some degree, but he was the ONLY pass rush we had last year...

I would trade him for a 1st and 2nd (Due to his production and youth)

But it is preferable to keep him on this team for a long time

What I'm sick of is the fact that the Ravens continue to franchise Suggs. Suggs has earned a long term contract on our team and I don't understand why we don't sign him to it. He said he wants to remain a Raven. Yes, we taught him, but how easy will it be for us to find another player with his skills and natural ability? With the loss of Bart Scott this offseason, I don't believe we are in a position to lose Suggs as well. We need to sign him, IMO

No way we get a 1st and 2nd for him. Not even Boldin has gotten that kind of attention, and ARI was considering offers.
I have a feeling Suggs wont be here next year.

suggs keeps getting the "franchise" tag for a reason.. he is our franchise player.. he's the best all around defensive player we have.. he can do it all and makes everyone around him better. He's young, versitile, and fits our defense perfectly... i would absoluetly hate seeing him go.. i wouldnt mind the organization giving him 10 mil a year to start and finish his career as a Raven

we've been trying lol...... he and/or his agent keeps denying it, therefore putting us in a difficult position

i have a problem giving him 10 mil a year because he is no Demarcus Ware or Julius Peppers. If there is no cap next year, than I don't mind as much but when it takes away from people who play hard like Haloti Ngata and Jared Gaither, than I really don't give a crap if we re-sign him. I think we need to figure out what to do with him now because if he misses training camp again, theres a huge chance he will get injured or be out of shape.

lets stop killing suggs he will be a raven but hewants the money he thinks hes worth not some little bit of money were offering and hes the only pass rusher we have that gets to the qb so he def aint despendable i think the fans need to step back n let this thing play out cuz when it comes to money people act alot diffrent so lets just wait this one out.
