The Jets Cheated....and Lost

apparently Billick thinks the Jets were screwing with the Ravens' snap count during the game, resulting in at least 3 penalties. He says the defensive lineman called out the snap count while our offense was on field which is confusing to the lineman who don't necessarily know which one is right so who knows, maybe they were trying to get an unfair advantage.

i thought something funny was going on there last week we had 10 penalties, this week we had 11.....there just had to be something wrong there somewhere, low and behold, the Jets were Illegally using the snap count and even WITH cheating, they couldnt win the game...

I am really really really really already getting sick of this cheating going on right now. For one the REFS should have known what the Jets were doing!. And two they did nothing about it and if had we lost nothing still probably would have been done.. and for a team that got cheated on you would think they would be the last team to try and cheat themselves they know what it feels like. And to take a chance and TARNISHING your name for good like BELECHICK did isn't a great move on supposedly Eric Mangenius is what they call him, not to genius on how he was playing his TEAM on SUNDAY. Would suck for them if they take further action for this and something similar happens to them as did the PATS, that would be pretty hilarious. But the sad part now to all of this I feel like I can't even sit down relax and enjoy the games anymore because you never know who may be cheating. Just like when THE Tennessee Titans stole our offensive play book in the playoffs in `2000 and we still won luckly.

I wish a player or a fan of ours though would record them asking Derrick Mason, and Samari Rolle if they knew they stole it or not.

I would love to hear their answer to that, I mean heck what does it matter now anyways except for

"US as FANS to know the truth on how the book disappeared and they started acting like they knew where everything was going on offense." Luckly our DEFENSE WON US that GAME!! or they would have won cheating!!. Its been about 8 years and their a Raven now and have been for a few years now so they need to come out of the closet and own up to it.

I also think they were doing it because the Ravens have a young offensive line and more prone to jumping.

that makes sense but i still don't like it. if the Jets wanted to win so badly then they shouldn't have dropped so many important passes :P

Well thats, just stupid. If they didn't want the Patriots cheating them, why would they cheat others? Good thing they didn't win.

On his radio show tonite, Billick says he is not accusing the Jets of cheating, and the Ravens make fake line calls too, and the refs usually get on it more.

Goose used to try to throw off the O-line by yelling crap stuff "hike hike!" during the QB's cadences (sp?)

... same thing the Jets did

its something that every single team in the NFL does, there is no denying it BUT the NFL Officials, more than 90 percent of the time, immediately put a stop to it because after all, it is Illegal and its confusing for teams, so as soon as it starts, they put a stop to it, BUT on the other hand there are those few times in which the opposing team keep doing it and the Referee's (time after time) does not call them for it....
