my wife is an amazing cook.

Tonight she made lasagna. Best I have ever had. Better than any thing from Little Italy.

It was pizza tonight...which was lunch, as well. I had a busy day today, so no time to cook, and no time to sit down with my parents for dinner (and didn't want leftovers). I'm only just now starting to unwind.

I'm shooting for quesadillas tomorrow night, though. That, or if I manage to go out to dinner with somebody *ahem* maybe something else. We'll see.

Want my old recipe from overseas? lol

two packages of oriental flavored Ramen.
Boil in water, then dump 2/3 - 3/4 of the water out and mix in flavor packets.
Dump steaming/flavored noodles in a bowl over Peppridge Farm seasoned croutons.

A little high in sodium, but "MMMmmm - MMMMmmmm B***H!" :D

I guess the second season packet should remain optional.

Actually, since I haven't had that since '94, I'm craving it now.

Hmm...I never thought of mixing in croutons...I should try that! It's bound to make the bowl more filling, anyway...and I never thought about mixing in flavor packets AFTER dumping some water out. That should be interesting to try.

I more like the flavored noodles than the soup. Or at least, I got tiredof soup. Putting the croutons on the bottom softens them up a bit.

Wendy's is the only fast food place I will go to (unless I MUST have Taco Bell or KFC - about once per year). The last time I had Chick-Fil-A it was good, but I just don't know how healthy. We have all of one within 40 miles to my knowledge.

if your talking about healthy fast food (i believe that is an oxymoron)

DO NOT EVER go to mcdonalds....... just about everything (including most salads) are bad for you there, i used to work at one before, and when i got bored i was reading the Nutritional facts, and was like HOLY **** not eating here for a looooooooong time.......

i think only fast food i will go out for is sonic....... and that maybe once or twice a month.... however i have gotten worse lately in general

DANG.... you know i thought i was in the Dump Thread here for a minute lol

Ive heard the same thing about the salads. Although their snack wraps are pretty good...as long as you get them grilled. Their around 220 calories...which isn't bad. I use caloriecounter.com when I eat out lol.

ya lol.....

i really only watch sat. fat (thats the stuff that causes clots in your arteries and what not) and anything fried (doesn't matter what you use to fry it in) is pretty heavy in sat. fat, usually i don't worry about calorie intake cause i'm always moving, but generally speaking almost anything that you make at home will be better than most fast food places

hell, even tropical smoothie isn't healthy for you lol

Most smoothies are packed with tons of calories. Although Orange Julious in our mall has a few that arent too bad...they are around 300 calories.

No. Quick Check didn't have any.

But I added them to the grocery list. Quick Check just happened to have Ramen, so I grabbed some.
