What If We Won The Super Bowl

42 posts in this topic

I always think to myself man i wish the ravens would win the super bowl. I almost cried when the Ravens beat tennessee to get to the AFC Championship so i think my first reaction after winning the big one would be to cry. It would be the happiest moment of my life to this point. I honestly think i might be happier than some of the players themselves. Ive always wanted to know what it feels like to be the best. Ive gotten close in recent years with the Hoyas going to the final four in 2006 and the Ravens going to the AFC title game in 08 but still havent quite got there. another thing ive always wanted to do is get the sports illustrated championship package! everytime that steelers comercial comes on i think dang i want one of those!! we need to win the super bowl.

SO, how would u react to winning the super bowl?

Just as long as it dosent turn into a riot. It would be insane though. I wish I could have attended the celebration back in 2000 but I was only in 7th grade...

I remember our fist SB win. I kept calling all my friends throughout the game saying "who let the dogs out"? That win was spectacular, and rather unexpected. Our D, especially Ray Ray, might have been the best D to ever play in a SB. Unbelievable play by the Ravens

Id be extremely happy (maybe cry), but i really hope that it wouldnt be the best moment of my life. That would be kind of depressing.

For me, it would be the same as when we lost the AFC Championship game but it would be out of happiness, instead of sadness. I cried when we lost that game, came on here and ranted and then I drunk myself to sleep. I dont imagine that routine would change, only the emotion behind it.

I am a mean old curmudgeon, and every time my team wins the Super Bowl I get to appreciate them for how hard they work and how well they played instead of finding flaws with the team and wondering if the front office will ever address the problems. I much prefer to be the happy go lucky kid in a candy store for a few weeks and bask in the glow of reflected glory.

I think that if the Ravens made it to the Superbowl, I would just die. I wouldn't even get to see if they won because I would be dead.

If the Baltimore Ravens won the Superbowl, I'll buy the Superbowl champion T-shirt and be happy.

Willis laying on the ground motionless was the reason that I was sad and not angry. But I started crying long before that happened. I started crying when Flacco threw that pick 6 because thats when I knew it was over and we were not moving on. That play was just so final.

Well the first year we won the superbowl, I went outside, and I screamed to the top of my lung chanting we had won because of my excitement. I think I would do the same if we won again, maybe prepare some fireworks if we get to the Superbowl earlier in the day to go and shoot them off.

Or drive around honking your horn all night. I remember I couldnt sleep that night because my neighbor's kid was riding around the neighborhood blaring his horn.

okay..... there is plenty of space here, why can't we do both, this is kind of what happens when there isn't really anything left to talk about for the now, no harm in having a little conversation

Life would be pretty boring if people didn't dream...

As for me - I'd probably be at a party, so I'd just be acting crazy like all the other fans. Then I would come home and replay the game [the post-game, any post game specials...] on the DVR until I fell asleep from exhaustion.

I don't know how I would feel but I know I would be there. I watched the game in Atlantic City last year and was @ the bar ready to order my SB tickets when my heart was broken. I don't even know if I was in the mood to drink after that but I blew a few thousand at the craps table... and curled up in the fetal position and slept.
