for me it would have to be evan longoria,,once our season went to hell last year i started watching and cheering for the rays(unless they were playing the o's)and this guy is awesome and look at this year 11 hr's and 44 rbi's already.
my favorite pitcher is randy johnson always has been always will and when he retires probably tim lincecum(sp?)
so anyone else with thoughts?

this is tough because i dont really care that much about anyone outside about Baltimore but i think i would have to say Albert Pujols or Ryan Howard. Unless they took/take steriods because i hate steriod users! how dare you sin against the game of baseball!!!

Dude I LOVE Baltimore. I have nothing against the O's. I just grew up in a NY suburb (Yanks) and in the 70's (Steelers & Yanks).

im not sayin that u do this, but i hate when steeler fans who live or lived remotely close to Pittsburgh use that as their excuse for being steelers fans when u know its probably because of their 6 championships.

They didn't have six championships when I became a fan. They had two and I was a kid. Someone bought me a jacket and it was my favorite thing in the world. That said, I hate that too.

And as far as the Yanks. There could never have been another team for me.

you sure you're an O's fan? I hate Evan Longoria. My favorite non-Oriole of all time is most definately Ken Griffey Jr.

yes i am a die hard o's fan i cheer against longoria when he plays us but like i said i started watching the rays when we were out of it late last year, it's be different if i mentioned a red sox or yankee player but so far it looks like the rays were a one trick pony.

yea i kinda get that too...i mean they've stunk it up for so many years as we've known. lol. i think the same goes for the orioles too...some of my new england friends actually root for the orioles now and then, of course against teams they dont like

I've watched like two baseball games in my life so I'm going to make a blind homer pick and say Cristian Guzman, short stop, Washington Nationals.
