Stadium Music

Is it just me or does the music in the stadium seem to be more rockin' this year? I love it! :P

They did play a couple of songs that I liked but did not recognize... Anyone know of a listing somewhere of the songs played?

Ironic that you bring up the music. To the contrary, I thought yesterday's music was the least inspiring since the stadium opened in 1998. In particular, the old favorites were not played: "Rave-On" and "Shout" after TDs.

How about that flyover at the game sunday. That was crazy!

Wish I was there I miss everything GREAT!! at the stadium. Except at least last year I got to go to the Chargers game for my Birthday and that place went CRAZY when we beat them with Heaps last minute leaning TD!!. WOW the only game I went to all year and I didn't mind that game was probably the best game to have been to last year at M&T.

I just hope they keep using what was the best sound system in the NFL in great ways. I still think the Nelly Heart Of A Champion song should be played more. It always seamed to get Ed Reed jumping and he would get a pick right after they played it.

Pump Up The Volume !!! LOL

I still shreak thinking about that dayummmm so called Raven sound they blew out of the loud speakers in 1996 !

"what was the best sound system in the NFL" is correct.

I've been to close to 25 stadia in the league. A few are equal, but most don't have the quality of sound, or proper speaker dispersal, to compare with Baltimore. That is, for the Ravens games played between 1998 and 2006.

The sound at the Jets game last week was so meek, I could barely hear it. I heard nothing during player introductions. I have great seats for audio, catching speakers from many locations. It was not an issue with a speaker or two being broken. For some inexplicable reason, the stadium audio people turned the volume down. I hope this was a one time occurence: stadium music does get the crowd pumped up to yell louder and make it more intimidating.

The Ravens have the best home record in this Century. Loud, upbeat music has been is a factor. Let's hope this problem gets corrected.
