Any San Antonio, Tx Ravens Fans?

Ive been out here for a few years now in a land of Cowboys fair weather fanatics...I have heard it all in the local sports bars, which of course have a large Steeler contingency as well. Im ALWAYS the only person holdin it down Purple and Black style. Every now and then i actually meet someone from our region who was also transplanted out here. It would be cool to take in a game with a few of my own kind though! I seriously doubt there will be any response from San Antonio, but heh, worth a try to see if I have any of my flock this far west!

If you feel like travelling "just around the corner" to Austin, we have a Ravens Nest here and we have anywhere between 20-50 Raven Maniacs show up to eat, drink and watch the game together. We meet at The Tavern, located at the corner of 12th & Lamar here in Austin. We meet upstairs and to the right. (That entire area is reserved for us Ravens folks.) We brought in so much business last year, the bar put in 3 big-screen TVs just for us.

Just moved here too. So Baltimore Son and Pino...Are we the only three Purple and Black fans here in S.A.? I have been crashing Steelers hang outs on those games but I would love to hang with my purple people!

Hey San Antonio! More Ravens fans here. Been here for 5 years. I think there are a good amount of people from MD here in San Antonio... doesn't seem that there's an organized nest or whatever. I'll just see jerseys and license plates here and there. Pino, me and the family watched at BWW this past weekend. There's usually a handful of Purple there. Not sure what's going on for the coming game...

Icey Mike, I did go to Austin last year for that game and it was great. Yeah it's an hour away from SA, but it's the best guarantee that you'' be able to watch the game with full audio and among a bunch of ravens fans. if you stick around SA, you can still watch the game at a bar with the NFL sunday ticket, but you have to show up early to request audio of the game. otherwise you'll watch the game while listening to another, it kinda sucks

We gotta be able to watch the denver game at BWW on pat booker. I have friends there and We should be good. If not we should be able to do something. Nothing better then being in a room full of Steelers fans as the air gets sucked out of their black lungs!

sorry i didn't reply to this last week. for the bronco's game i caught it at a fast eddies. but this week at least one of my sisters and i are going to austin. it's a big game.

Well what do you know...

Here I was thinking I was the only Ravens fan down here. Been in SA (Floresville) for about 4 years now. Not sure how many games I can get out to get to (have 1 year old twins, so time away from home is scarce). Definitely good to know I've got some purple and black brothers nearby!

Was thinking about making the trip to Houston for the game. Anyone else thinking about that? Maybe we could get a little caravan going. Also, need to figure out where the rest of us Ravens fans will be sitting.

Im in San Antonio and am a huge ravens fan... Usually the only one at the place i go to surrounded by steeler fans, but would love to be around my own.
