Larry Foote

Ok, I was disapointed that we passed on Rey Maualuga. Like really disapointed. You can't deny he would have been the perfect selection. Anyway, the Steelers have released Larry Foote and he played ind the 3-4 over in Pittsburgh, so he should probably get our system. I know that Detroit seems like it makes the most sense for him, but don't you think playing here in Baltimore would be more apealing? what do you guys think?

I think he would be a good pickup, but at what price tag I wonder?

Pick him up! If he plays with a big chip on his shoulder for atleast 2 games in the season, it will be a good pick up.

I definitely think it would be a good pick up. He played the role of Bart Scott in a solid 3-4 Defense, coincidentally, having practically the same measurables: 6'1 compared to 6'1 and 239 lbs compared to 240. Money shouldnt be much of an issue as he was only due to make $2.885 million, considerably lower than any of our starting LBs (Lewis, Suggs). His only problem with Pittsburgh was his recent lack of playing time, as he was upset that Lawrence Timmons replaced him on 3rd downs.

Cause Rod Woodson was such a horrible player for us.

he would def be a good pickup so he can tell flacco all the flaws n little kinks in gthe steelers defense n he would fill in for bart n be productive cuz if the steelers had the money that guy would still suit up for them so i def wouldn't mind snatchimg him up for a year or 2.

No. Just no. I dont want any steelers on this team. Woodson was the only exception of players I liked coming from the burgh.

He lost his spot to a younger, more athletic first round pick. He asked to be traded or released and they complied with his wishes. I don't know how much animosity there can be. Or how much revenge someone with 63 tackles last year can generate.
