As a die-hard fan of a professional sports team, u are going to go through some awesome wins, and very dissapointing losses. as Ravens fans over the years, what has been the most heartbreaking loss, and the most triumphant win for you? Heres mine:

[b]Most heartbreaking loss:

For me this came down to two. The second game vs. Pittsburgh this season or this magical Monday Night that came to a terrible ending and i chose........

December 3, 2007

Patriots 27 Ravens 24

Wow. What an amazing night. 70,000+ packed M&T Bank Stadium as the Ravens attempted to black out Tom Brady and the 11-0?? New England Patriots. The Ravens led most of the night and i was more excited than ever. But, at the end of the game it seemed as though nothing was going to stop New England from going undefeated as the refs were giving the Patriots EVERY call possible!! Jabar Gaffney makes the game winning TD "catch" and New England barely escapes with a win for the second straight week. IM still thoroughly pissed off about this game.

agreed on the losses but another one I would like to add is the Cleveland game where it came down to a last minute FG that hit the back of the crossbar and bounce back into the endzone and we lost the game. I was also in Ohio at the time so that made it worse.

The past three Steelers losses weren't that heartbreaking simply because the Ravens were outplayed. To me, the worst was the 07 game against the Patriots. The crowd was pumped, McGahee had a monster game, the defense was smothering but two or three plays turned that game on it's head.

The Dolphins game that same year was pretty shocking too.

Worst Loss:

To this day I think about that Pats game. That timeout Rex Ryan called after we stopped them on 4th down and they got a 2nd chance. We could of prevented them from going 16-0. I hate that. It bothers me still.

And that Colts game in 2006. The whole city was so pumped that season. That game seemed bigger than our AFC Championship game this year. And it was a home game. I was depressed for a while after that game.

Best Win:

I loved that Cleavland game in 06 when Stover hit the 52 yard FG to win the game after Cmac picked it off in the end zone.

And you can't forget about the 2006 Steelers shutout game.
Playoff game vs the Colts a couple of years ago where we held Peyton Manning without a touchdown the hole game and still couldn't win it.
Yeah I still can't get over that loss. That was just painful, I didn't cry on the outside but inside I was tearing myself apart. That was a long drive back home

Hard to say about worst loss!

BUT for best win (i know its a little weird) is beating the cowboys this year ONLY because i was the ONLY Raven fan or person rooting for the Ravens.

The most triumphant win for me was the cowboys game. Because that pretty much was where I feel like we were hitting our stride to go on our run. The most heartbreaking loss had to be the titans game(the first one.) I remember thinking about that game all week and just being real down.

The Cowboys was very sweet. Everyone was against the team. The fans in the stadium and the announcer and for the team to win the way they did; it was great.

Colts game at M&T in 06 was devastating. Still have not recovered from that one. Hope we take the Colts this season

Best Wins:
@Tennesee Titans in 2000...winning 24-23 thanks to a late drive from Dilfer & Co...

@ Tennesee Titans in 2000 (AFC divisional round): that was definitely the peak of our old Titans rivalry, back in the Mcnair/George/Wycheck/Mason vs. Lewis/Boulware/Sharper...classic stuff

Superbowl XXXV of course

2006 beating Pittsburgh 27-0

2008 going to Dallas and looking like one of the elite teams in the league was one of the best feelings of the whole season

2008 @ Titans...grinding it out for the close win, and the only player remaining from that legendary victory in Nashville 8 years earlier (except Ray Lewis) kicking it right through the uprights for the win. Thanks for the great years Matt Stover!

Worst Losses:
@Pittsburgh 2001...the worst being when Kordell Stewart engineered what was I believe a 14 minute drive against us...awful

vs. Indy 2005 opening day, hyped up to be a big, competitive match, instead we got crushed (by our standards) 24-7 by a vastly superior colts team. set the stage for that lousy year

vs. Indy 2006, AFC divisional round...

at Cincy 2007 opening day, 6 turnovers, 8 trys to get a touchdown to tie the game and STILL couldn't put it in the end zone...once again, set the stage for a lousy season

vs. Pittsburgh 2008, losing by an inch always hurts...

Well... actually, they did get the ball in the endzone in the Cincy game. But the officials decided not to count it. THAT set the stage for a lousy season of officiating. The very next week, they tried to take another touchdown away from Heap AGAIN! Only this time it wasn't within the last 2 minutes of the game and so the Ravens were allowed to challenge.
