I don't believe that's true anymore.
It was an american woman but she had health issues apparently.

I just read that Dave, US is +1 she was a fragile woman with many health problems. CDC presser today also said the people that caught this mess this Spring may be immune in the Fall.

I haven't been keeping up with this lately (not really worried) but the last I heard: the first person to die from swine flue was a two year old Mexican boy whose family rode over here for our oh so expensive healthcare.

When the scare was going on, I was driving through Baltimore and was stopped at the light next to the First Mariner Arena where lots of people were gathering because there was a show that night. I watched one relatively young person get off the light rail wearing a surgical mask, and then proceed to take it off so he could smoke a cigarette.

Perhaps it's just me, but he's probably doing more harm to himself smoking that cig than would have happened to him if he had caught the flu :P

Thats hilarious!!!! My stupid step son would do something like that-- he was convinced he had bird flu a couple years ago :huh:

To top it off, the guy only pulled the mask down to his chin, and those things are basically made of paper.

Future Darwin award winner anyone?
