the stretched out ratings kinda suck but at least they will be able to improve as the season goes on. my only complaint is foxworth being rated higher then fabian when fabian started more games and played better.

I love this new rating system, but they need to make franchise mode more realistic. Why would the Broncos draft a QB in the first round when they have Jay Cutler?!(My Madden experience.)

lol i guess they're trying to rate based on potential, idk why they did that though...but ur right, hopefully they can analyze and update more players than last year.

I gotta say i like that saying "if his defense wasn't so great, clutch would be too late."
how so?

i think the chargers have been one and done since rivers came to the team

McNabb chokes in the big games, and if he brings them back from behind, he cant finish the job

Manning is too inconsistent and squandered home field away this year

Romo has been one and done since hes been on the cowboys, and is always sure to choke in big games

Big ben has 50+ wins in his five years, went 13-0 as a rookie, youngest QB to win the SB, part of the reason they beat the ravens 3 times this past year, and had the game winning SB drive

anything else
you lost all accountability after that first statement..... 06... Drew Brees last year playing as starter for chargers... one and done in play offs
07, rivers first year, they go head to head, and compete with New England in the AFC championship game.... he played injured in that game
08... chargers beat colts, than lose to eventual superbowl winners pittsburgh steelers

i fail to see the one and done you are talking about in the 2 years rivers has started for them

to be honest if i had to choose between rivers and big ben to play QB for my team, i'd choose rivers.
and fyi, he didn't win their superbowl(s) their defense did

don't get me wrong, he's pretty clutch.. but sometimes being clutch isn't good enough

QB T. Smith 59 82 86
CB F. Walker 49 80 86
Those two are the only ones I have problems with.

I wouldn't have such an issue with Troy Smith being so low if the 09 QB rookie class wasn't rated so high

Pat White 65 - 2nd Rounder
Nate Davis 64 - 5th Rounder
Curtis Painter 62 - 6th Rounder
Rhett Bomar 62 - 5th Rounder
Tom Brandstater 60 - 6th Rounder
Stephen McGee - 59 - 4th Rounder
Troy Smith - 59 - 5th Rounder

They're fairly mediocre.

haha no kiddin'. I don't exactly know how they're rating players this year, but its a whole lot different to me than last year's ratings, 2009, because almost everybody's ratings were alot higher the previous year. i guess they're trying to separate the talented players from the not-so-talented ones a bit more, this year.
What's Flacco's throwpower and accuracy? His throwpower was 97 i believe.
That has to be top 2 or 3?

Yeah last year only JaMarcus Russell had a bigger arm (98) but they probably lowered his rating again this year. I noticed last year when the updates came out they downgraded Russell to a 97 or a 96. So Flacco might have the biggest arm in Madden right now.

Im pretty sure Russel will have the strongest arm again. Flacco should have the second best. I'd give Russel 99 throw power, and Flacco 98.

EA has asked many of the sites that have posted the ratings to take them down. This either means that they don't want people to know about the ratings yet, or that they may change a few around. Hopefully, they change a few around (for the better).

Where did you hear this from, can I get a link to you hearing that EA doesn't want the Ratings to be posted, thanks!

Pastapadre (pastapadre.com) said it on his website. He released all the ratings and a few hours later or a day later EA asked him to remove the ratings again. EA is currently releasing the ratings on their own website (one team per day) so they want everybody to keep checking their website for the next few weeks/months instead of just getting all the ratings at once from somebody else.
