I'm not implying that the offense needs a rah-rah player on that unit to give them that extra push, but it's hard to pinpoint one person on that side of the ball that has the so-called Ray Lewis effect.[/quote]
I disagree. No player on offense has shown more heart than Mase. He played with one arm for God's sake. I nominate him for offensive lead player, if not him I nominate Flacco - our wonder boy

Leader on the offense? Yes, Mason is the leader, but its kind of hard lead them from WR's spot. Our QB is growing into the
leader, he still young, but the biggest leader should be the Center, he leads the O-line, and makes sure RB's are running hard
in the holes and also blocks for QB, so he can thorw the ball. So, I'm definitely hoping that Matt Birk is gonna take care of business, just like he has done in the past.

which receiver would u have seen us taking on the 2nd day? would it be an upgrade over all the ones we have now. we had a lot of injured young receivers last year. it is obvious we went BPA on day 2.
All the players we selected day 2 are able to fill in depth, even fight for a starting spot except peerman.

I was all for the boldin trade, but i think the draft went perfectly for us

Well, codizz, I wouldn't say trade went perfectly for us, lets say it was pretty good. But like I said before, dissapointment from not
taking WR. Look, ESPN analyst Mell Kipper gave Ravens B+, but even he admitted that Ravens forget to adress WR's situation,
and if they did, he would of probably given the grade A.
It's done and over with, so I'm not gonna harp on it too much. We did get some very good players in other positions. I do agree
with you, we had some WR's injured last year, especially Demetrius Williams, that hurt us, but that's why we have to be prepared for events like this, next man up, should be able to get the job done. Just imagine, if we lost Mason ( hope not) , who would be making
those 3rd down conversions? I still don't know, who is Joe gonna throw the ball to if either Mason or Clayton is not in the game.
I got the feeling we would be lining up with 2 Tight Ends, Heap on one side, L.J. Smith on the other. We gonna do that anyway, we would take FB out, and put 2 TE's in. And I'm not so sure about our WR's like Smith, Maxwell, Wheelwright, is there any clear cut
No. 3 WR? We ought to try to get one, we can slide Clayton in the slot, Flacco has the arm to do it, question is, who's gonna be fast enough to get there and catch it ?! We will play New England and Colts, and they both run the ofense with 3 WR's pretty damn good.
