All Aboard The Lardarius Webb Bandwagon!

68 posts in this topic

I think it's a great pick here in the 3rd round. He's better than Frank Walker (then again, most people are), so we don't have to deal with his comic incompetence anymore. We can start him out at dime, and slowly work him to nickel as Rolle gets older and our future secondary can be Fox and Fabe starting with Webb at nickel. I like what Ozzie is doing here, very good pick.

Plus, he has a ghettotastic name!

You know, I don't think this is as bad as a pick as everyone is saying. Just because he is not a known player from some big school, does not mean he can not be good...right?

He also had quarterback potential... now im not saying he could throw the bomb or anything, but maybe some wildbird?

Nice find. I didn't know he ran the fastest 40 (4.46 ehh). Man the Ravens have the fastest secondary in the NFL. Foxworth, Washington, Carr, Webb...good GOD

Not a bad thought, hopefully they will keep the Wildbird spot reserved for Troy "the boy" Smith aka the man!

Attention! From here on out, if Lardarius WEBB sticks to receivers he will be forth known as...

i like this guy. plus we could use him on returns. with leonhard gone, and figurs fumbling every time he touches the ball, he could be useful there at least

This guy looks awesome. I usually just read on the forums here but just had to comment on the fact that we have gotten athletes from 2 smaller schools and both will be impact players. Can you imagine Webb along side Reed ball hawking. It is gonna make quarterbacks sick.

I was a doubter yesterday but i have seen that method to the madness. I think we will be ok even on offense. We are a ball control team correct ?

Can he tackle? Yes? Then he will definitely be playing ahead of Walker.

THIS guy is Yamon Figurs' competition right here. Lardarius Webb will be returning punts if Yamon doesn't get his act together.

Yeah man, having a lower amount of letters on your jersey makes you go faster.

Then why the hell did Oakland draft Heyward-Bey? He's probably the slowest wide receiver in this class.

Isn't Chris Carr also competition? Or did he only return Kickoffs?
