Why Not Braylon

Guys what about Edwards from the browns. He has to have an axe to grind so we might as well feed the fire and watch him explode. I know you probably will not like that idea but hey i think the guys still has some terrific hands and is still a reliable set of hands.

Then maybe we can trade for the James Harrison and Troy Polamalu? or the Bengals would give us Chad Johnson for a 3rd rounder? While we're at it maybe the Browns would trade us Shaun Rogers and Joe Thomas?

<_<

1) Because he's in the division so they'd never go for it.
2) They'd never get him under contract because he'd just keep dropping the pens (to reuse a joke).

I would certainly not be opposed to it, but I HIGHLY doubt the Browns would trade him inside of the division...

LMAO at the dropping the pen remark. I figured on the same division issue but it isnt unheard of. I would not see him neing against it. Guys like him i feel bad for. Just like TJ with the bengals before he found an out. They are good players stuck in a very bad situation, kinda like tejada was when he was with the orioles.

Braylon is in a bad situation but it's not like the Ravens have to "liberate" him because of it. He played like crap last year too. Who's to say that won't happen again? He may bounce back in a big way but he isn't coming here...

Besides the fact he is in the division and this trade will never happen.

The fact you said he has terrific hands and still a "reliable set of hands" is absurd. Did you forget he led the league in drops last year? Thats not a reliable/terrific set of hands if you ask me.

we ask ... buffalo (for example) to trade for b. edwards then in return we trade buffalo for edwards.

In theory yes, but Cleveland could also do something similar to what the Packers did with favre and put in a clause in the contract that says the Bills give them a 1st rounder if they trade Braylon to someone in our division.

I don't think the market for Edwards is anything like it was for Favre for them to get away with this and get anything else in return.

Mangini might still think he can make him come around. Remember BE's beef was with management which is a little different now.
