I have a feeling i know who the Ravens will draft.

I'll tell you tomorrow around 10 o'clock pm.

I'm too tired to type right now and I'll be having to take about a 24 hour rest for my sausages to rest.

I would rather sign Randy Hymes.

Like another poster said... I don't think the Ravens will be drafting in the 1st round this year. There is a pretty even field once the first 10 picks are gone, so you might as well get more picks instead of wasting one pick on a player with the same talent as 20 picks later, when you could have that player AND an additional pick.

the only way we don't pick in the 1st round is if we trade that pick for Boldin. I don't see many teams wanting to trade up at 26 so we can collect extra picks.

But then again, we will not know until this thing starts shaking out tomorrow afternoon...
Mike Duffy is absolutely hilarious on 30 Rock

That haircut would be an improvement. I think we need to chip in and help Duffy out in that dept.

This from Peter King, a very, very well-connected reporter.
26. Baltimore Ravens
Rey Maualuga | Linebacker | USC

Baltimore could take CB Vontae Davis or a WR here -- but not local favorite Darrius Heyward-Bey. The temptation of having Rey someday succeed Ray (Lewis) is too great.

I really don't think we will get DHB. I think ozzie is going to do some crazy GM-ness and trade up, back, left, right, Triangle, Square, L2, R2 and do what he gets paid to do. Bring the best players to the organization no matter the position. The 2 positions (special teams deft not 1st round as well) I defintely don't see him picking are QB and FS in the first round
LOL i wish there was a cheat code for the draft... as does Matt Millen

Now that we have gotten our QB, I think that the only position Ozzie still has to prove himself at in the draft is WR. Travis Tayler and Clayton didn't/haven't lived up to their 1st round draft status.
Do you guys know Ted Ginn Jr.?
Do you guys know Patrick Johnson?

I know them and yes they are fast, but no they can not catch the football and cant run routes

Ted Ginn was great at college and the 9th overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft for the Miami Dolphins

Patrick Johnson was also good at college and too fast just like Ted Ginn Jr. and the 42nd overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft for the Baltimore Ravens

So what tell you all these facts? Speed WRs are bad

For all the guys who want the Ravens to draft DHB, he will be long gone i can predict you a pick:

With the 7th overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft the Oakland Raiders select Darrius Heyward-Bey WR Maryland
I dont buy into any of this. While I do agree DHB needs to work on some of His skills ( Which college player entering the draft dont? ), He is still a pretty good reciever. He has natural hands and runs fairly good routes. Running routes can be can get better in a single training camp and DHB has great work ethic. His hands are good, His concentration on the field is bad. He tends to "look up the field" to soon. Focusing on looking the ball into His hands can be done in a training camp.

Stats can be misleading if a QB throws it 6 times to the checkdown reciever 4 yards away and completes every pass, but only gains 8 yards total. His QB rating is threw the roof, yet is He really that good? Its a dumb "for instance" thing but its late and i dont fell like thinking much lol.
MD's offense wasnt anything to raise a fist about and say Hip Hip horray. Instablity at QB can ruin the best reciever's chemistry and ruin any season. Not including they was a run first team and had no other recievers even worth mentioning, meaning DHB always saw double teams and yet still found a way to get to the endzone a fair amount of times and gained above average yards from a pee poor offense.

The biggest reason people think He has poor hands is like I said, concentration. He let a few passes get to His chest, and the other biggest reason is because the game against Clemson in which He dropped 2 passes.

I seem to believe that DHB will turn into a star in a few years, but throw this guy into a slot this year and He should shine. I'm not saying He;s going to be a 80 rec and 1200 yard reciever, or even a perennial pro-bowler. But He should impress immed and may even turn into a superstar.
Can you say BUST?
BUST!!!

Al Davis issomething else... Maybe he was thinking, that since his QB isn't very acurate, he needed a receiver thatran bad routes... That way the 2 negatives would offset, and Russel and dhb becomes the next great things... But who knows... Good luck to them... They seem to need it, lol
