Is It Better To Sim Entire Ncaa 09 Season?

3 posts in this topic

I have a quick question. I just finished up the 2010 season and won my second consectutive SB, I simulated the first 3 weeks of the 2011 pre-season. I haven't simulated the remainder pre-season because I want to upload the real players from NCAA 09. Is it better to simulate the entire NCAA 09 season than upload the players to Madden or better to play through the season then upload them in Madden? Does it effect Ratings of the players or not?

It depends, I haven't tried to transfer the players but I think if you transfer before you sim the season then you miss out on potential increases in stats due to performances in games.

Depending on how well you're NCAA team does the players progress alot. They could decrease in potential though as well. I think you should go ahead and sim.

Id imagine that whatever team you are, the players stats would get better if you played.. I normally just simulate the entire season and then transfer it into the draft.. I've noticed that doing this in past Maddens, the players overall ratings have been slightly lower(2-4 pts) than if i would do a normal draft.. I havent tried it in 09 though.. I dont think theres much of a difference though..
