judging by his previous experiences with the Jets and the Outlook on how our offense CAN become a power house, and judging by the fact that he had 70 yards rushing even WITH Musa rotating in and out, i think that showing shows that Willis CAN and WILL continue his "raid" against the Jets

I'm impressed with McGahee and Smith ability to Run. We still have some games to prove that we are top five rushing team.

yea im impressed as well but we must Give McGahee the ball more than smith in this one (at least) given his game history against them (he's rushed for 100 yards or more in ALL contests against them) we all know that he can hit the holes and break a couple big runs....so i personally think....Give McGahee the Ball more, for him to get more yardage and possibly a Touchdown or 2 (if given the oppurtunity), i could see him doubling his 70 yards rushing this week, if that were to happen and he hits the open holes and gets that extra yardage

I want to see more sweeps and screens to him.

i agree they seemed to work rather well against the Bengals. I think teams arent used to seeing Raven screens work because Jamal wasn't too good at turning the corner (if he even caught the ball) so McGahee definately fills in nicely for those kinds of plays.

Also I think we should put him off tackle more often, hes been running smashmouth J. Lew style like we kept seeing in preseason. Hes still got that stiffarm of his so itd be more more useful on the outside.

I think the Jets will be a nice game for McGahee and the offense to get into some serious rhythm and momentum heading into the regular season.

I was impressed with the Mcgahees performance against the Bengals. He moved through traffic in a way Jamal didnt. I dont know why Billick limited his playing time, but I see him getting even better as the year goes. We are going to need the run game even more if KB is at the helm.

yea, there is no doubt in my mind that as this season rolls on, he will do nothing BUT continue to get better and better, i can see McGahee doing very well, and after the last game i personally think that Billick will run the ball more (if Steve is in the game) that way it'll relieve some pressure from McNair and give him the needed rest (so to speak) from gettting hit and allowing him to heal....would expect McGahee to have a Great game this week, and expect him to be a Big part in our offensive schemes

I don't know without Ogden and the way line looks he may have rough season. The defense will have to score alot points this year to stay on top because the offense looks terrible. :(

if you noticed that most of Mcgahee's yards were AFTER Ogden was taken out of the game, he seemed to be hitting those open holes regularly...so i see no reason why he shouldnt get better and better

I don't know maybe your right but they just don't seem to be on the same page so far, but it is early in the season.

our Tandem 1-2 punch of McGahee and Musa seemed to prove pretty potent, McGahee had 77 yards rushing and Smith had 30 yards rushing...which add up to be over 100 yards rushing for the game, we were rotating each back into the game to keep each player from getting tired and unable to hit the holes properly and get that extra yardage, each rusher was rested/refreshed enough to go back in there when the other was called out, and still get yardage and make plays, Our Offensive line seemed to block well against the run for most of the night (without Ogden), it was opening the holes and creating gaps for our RB's to run through easily, i think as most of us on here think that the only reason why we lost that games was because of the Turnovers, and not because of a Lack luster Running game performance, when we had the ball that night, (when we were driving downfield) McNair was hitting his recievers regularly and making those plays, it was only until the mis-ques and mis-handling of the ball, that eventually led to the Turnovers, AND to add to it...Cinci had absolutely no Running game what so ever, everytime Rudi had the ball, he was tackled immediately in the back field or he was wrapped up after a 1-2 yard gain

What do you think the score will be for the game sunday?

i would say...Ravens: 24 Jets: 10.... i personally feel like McGahee will continue his streak against the Jets and have a Good game, with the Possibly of a Touchdown or two (when given the oppurtunity) i feel as though this game would be McGahee's game (in the fact that he will find the open holes and break a few Runs for Big Gains)...if Musa is our back up in that game as well, i would expect him to get about 38-40 yards rushing.... and a possible TD if he's in at that point in time and is inside the 10 or 5 yard line.... i also feel as though, Our Defense will be Hungry....they have a very bitter taste in their mouth's in the fact that they let the Bengals get away with those points...so i would expect our Defense to Rush the Passer and get through the Jets Line, for about 3-4 sacks and possibly a 1-2 INT's.......The Entire Ravens Team as a whole will be looking to rebound and take full advantage, i would expect McGahee to run for about 110-115 yards therefore continuing is streak and come off the Board with a Win..McNair i feel (if he plays) will have a decent game, nothing TOO TOO special because he may still be bothered by the injury BUT i would expect him to throw for at least 180 yards to 200 yards passing and i feel as though he could throw a TD or 2 in the process
