I think the mid-season bye for us was a bit of a concession from the league to make up for last year's bye week fiasco. Sort of a, "hey we messed up, but here's how we'll make it up to ya" type deal.

They play the Raiders (Dec. 6th) and then 4 days later play the Browns (Dec. 10th)!

It says on NFL.COM that our BYE week is in Week 7. Just wanted to clear that up.

Come on, we go to afc championship and we play 3 times on prime time, the bears play 5 times, titans 4 times, eagles 4 times, i don't even talk about teams like pats colts and cowboys who play 5+ games... i mean it seems to be based on statistics since the Lions have no game in primetime ! and the ravens go to AFC CHAMPIONSHIP AND HAVE 3 JUST LIKE THE DOLPHINS !!! well no, even the Dolphins have 4 ! but we get 3 games in primetime like the Saints ! this is a disgrace ! i'm so pissed off ! i don't care about how fun is those team's games ! fun to watch or not, everyone prefers to watch great teams more than spectacular team ! i'm so pissed !!!

We dont play well in primetime. We had some success at it last year but primetime games are not our best friend.

If you look at our game against pitt on dec 27th, that is no doubt being flexed to at least a 4pm game. Most likely a night game so I look at it like we have 4 prime time games. So pumped for this season!!!!

After looking at our schedule and how our opponents performed last season- I don't really see a reason why we wouldn't go 13-3 if our teamed stayed healthy and we performed about the same level offensively and defensively as we did last season. Our 3 losses being the Colts, Patriots and Steelers away game.

I think week 12 hosting the Steelers.. we'll crush them, then they'll get revenge when we play them at Ketchup field.

All in all, aside from 3 or 4 tough games, this season is going to be ridiculously easier than last season considering our opponents record and the fact we (hopefully) will get a proper bye-week.
