3 Days Til The Home Opener!

can't wait til sunday to rock M&T Bank been waiting for the opener since this past january(sadly) but our ravens will be ready to lay it on the jets. its my first year with season tickets (first regualar season game since 97 on my bday back at 33rd street dec.14th 1997 ....... The Day that i fell in love with the ravens ) ,ill be in 517 cheerin my a** off i know my voice will be gone proably b4 the first quarter lol but man i cant wait , wanted to see if anybody else is excited as i am im sure yall are

Got a new tailgate partner who has a big grill & likes seafood -- like me. So it's grilled shrimp on Sunday. Come over to my side of Lot J to have some!

We had been planning a noon arrival, but watching the traffic on the other Ravens message boards, we're now thinking of 11 am to stake out our usual spot. Also, considering how Jets fans are only a few hours away via bus, expect a few busloads of Yankees crossing the Mason-Dixon line seeking crabcakes & football. That should crowd up Lot J pretty quickly.

btw: I've sworn off beer at tailgates because of too much beergut. So now it's screwdrivers -- takes up a lot less space as well.

I'm thinking mini crab cakes and this year I'm on a wine kick--I found a new winery in FL that has some really good reasonable stuff. If they don't block me in, I try to cruise on over!

i saw on NFL network (not Total Access though) the over-head news bar thing, that Pennington's status for Sunday is listed as "Out"....woot woot! haha let the defensive feast begin!

I'm not too sure Pennington being out is a good thing. We knew what we were getting with him.

well they dont actually List him as Officially "Out" but the 2nd string QB is taking most of the reps in the Jets Practices, so thats what id expect them to do, NFL network also predicts that the Back up will start this one

i know what you mean, i havent seen/heard of Pennington being a "Great" QB or have an outstanding game or anything like that, when you think of him, he's just not the Kind of Athlete's you would think of when it comes to being a Great QB, or one that would have a GREAT game or anything of that sort...im sure that alot of Raven fans can agree with me on this

hell yeah man! i no longer has Sunday Ticket though, so i can't watch all the games..but this game is supposed to come on CBS at 3:15, so that would be a doubleheader. they might be airing it in my area, hopefully!
