Jets Defense V.s Ravens Defense

They acquired a lot of talent but there is no guarantee they will gel and play well. They have great individual talents like Kris Jenkins, Bart, Kerry Rhodes and Darrelle Revis but I still think they have holes.
Rich Eisen asked guest Willie McGhinest and another announcer who will have the better D now that Rex Ryan is the head coach of the NYJ. Both of them said the JETS! I almost vomited my lunch but managed to blurt out "you gotta be effin kiddin me!" Am I missing something?
Who cares what they think, I don't. We all know that player talent is what counts. A good coach can't necessarily make an untalented player better. We have Ngata, Suggs, Rayand Reed on our team. Nough said

Who really care what Willie McGhinest says about anything? Do you know what they say about opinions? Good! The only way to end this is for the Raven's to play the Jet's! :o

Willie McGhiniest is just pissed about how the ravens own the stains. He offers no credible argument to why the jets D will be better than the ravens next year.

Good. We always do better when the press corps try to knock us down. Seems like a good start to the season.

Did someone say that the Jets defense was #12 last year? You don't switch positions [not that that is exactly what they are saying] with a #2 team by making one or two changes - unless those changes include someone who is a difference maker on AND off the field. Ryan may be good, but I don't see him as the motivational factor to the extent that someone like Ray Lewis is. I can see Ray joining a team and making the other players play better. Some people just have that ability. Will Ryan make the players play better? Just giving them different "schemes" doesn't necessarily mean that they will see a significant improvement in their ranking. They might, but to say that they will become better than the current #2 team is quite a bold statement and I don't see anything to substantiate it.

I think people are also forgetting that the Jets may struggle on offense next year as well, unless they make some moves to acquire a QB. Kellen Clemens may prove to be pretty good, but they play the Pats, and Dolphins twice a year. You can almost mark those as losses right now if the Jets don't get the QB situation resolved. I'm not suggesting that Pennington will do so well, but the defense and the Dolphins running game will give them the edge over the Jets in the first year under Ryan. So that's 4 losses right there. Yeah, I'm not drinking the gang green I just used the EMB's #1 Cliché!!.

our d will rank higher all year long and there d will be getting tourched by brady plus jim was only good for that year cuz everyone was going after him to avoid reed and now to have him back there with smith that secondary will suck cuz lito wasnt even playing in philly he was 4th corner on the team and revis is good but far from elite and fabian aint too far behind pitty the fool who said this bs they need to be **** slapped
