Predict The Score

My guess for this week is Ravens 35 Jets 10. I think this is going to be one fired up team and the defense gets 1.

31 - 10 Ravens over Jets

I think the defense will dominate as usual but the offense will have a couple mistakes. However, those won't be enough to slow them down this time :)

i say Ravens: 24Jets: 10, our defense will he Pi$$ed off, and looking for vengence, and our Offense will be looking to make a Statement after last weeks performance....i believe that we will be running on pretty much all cylinders in this one and from here on out (hopefully), i feel that Our Running game will do great, and i just have a feeling that McGahee will break a few in this one, and have at least 100 yards, or more and a TD

Remember, the Jets aren't going to use Chad Pennington, and instead will use their backup whos first game will be with us

along with this and the defense looking for vengeance, and the offense looking to rebound, the score should be:

Ravens, 27-3

Jets get lucky with one field goal

ravens 27 and jets 6 or 9 i highly doubt that the jets will be able to get a touchdown by our defense...and lets hope our offense dosnt play like they did a last week and wont give up any scoring chances for the jets...thats my only worry ;)

Ravens 17 Jets 21 :(

I don't think the Ravens are playing to their full ability right now and with the injuries I think it may be a long season. The defense can only do so much. I think they should let Ed Reed return all the kicks and punts and let the HB'S run the ball a hell of alot more.

Alrighty then.

Minor Injuries

-McNair might be out one game, but hell Boller can win a game.

-Ray, he hurt his arm. He played through it, it must not be that bad. He'll play.

Major ones

-Ogden, didn't play most last year, we went out 13-3 I recall.

-Sams, sam thing but we have Figurs, which is better anyway

We also got McGahee, he is much better then Jamal, and last week was a fluke.

Have faith.

I don't feel like the Ravens offense was as bad as it seemed. I just got finished rewatching the game and to me it was clear that the Ravens offense was better then the Bengals D. Our biggest problem(aside from McNair's groin) was inconsistent play from the oline. The young guys played well for the most part. Jason Brown and Ben Grubbs did great jobs pulling down the line getting big blocks. Some of the sacks and pressure that the Bengals was able to get on McNair was more the blame of his immobilities(groin) then the oline. Mason and DWill were open for the better part of the game. Mason working out of the slot will do wonders for this offense. Heap had success getting open down the middle working against the LBs, however McNair either didn't see him or didn't feel comfortable throwing over the middle with all his passes sailing high.

Now for my view of the Jets game. I think the Jets are coming into a bad situation. This is the home opener, we are coming off a loss that we let get away, the defense will be facing a first time starting QB, and the offense will be looking to show the defense that they can be counted on this season. IMHO the Jets don't stand a chance but hey, Any Given Sunday right? McGahee seems to have great success going against the Jets and with McGahee looking to impress the fans he might have a huge day. Boller and/or McNair should have a pretty good day against the Jets secondary if the Oline can give good pass pro. If Boller plays u can expect the offense to press down field to DWill plenty in this game. Because the Jets will be out to prove that they can stop McGahee, their LBs will be easily sucked up to the line on playactions and Heap/Clayton should be able to take advantage of it. It will be interesting to see how Billick uses the backs with the return of MA. The Ravens won the battle of field position all night in Cincy, i look forward to much of the same Sunday. Defensively i think the Ravens will dominate. No more then 50 yards rushing, 5 sacks, and at least 2 turnovers. The Ravens will do a good job of capatalizing on great field position and score plenty.

Final score. 31-3
